In Loving Memory of Cris Rey F. Gatchalian
SSG President, School Year 2017–2018 (Junior High School)

With profound sadness, the Don Amadeo Perez Sr. National High School family mourns the passing of our dear alumna, Cris Rey F. Gatchalian, who faithfully served as the Supreme Student Government (SSG) President during School Year 2017–2018.

As a true Amadean, Cris Rey embodied leadership, dedication, and a sincere commitment to serving her fellow students. Her passion for service and positive influence within the school community left a mark that will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

While words cannot ease the pain of this loss, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy of leadership and service will continue to inspire generations of Amadeans.

To her family, friends, classmates, and loved ones, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. May you find strength and comfort in the memories you shared with her.

at 𝙳𝙾𝙽 𝙰𝙼𝙰𝙳𝙴𝙾 𝙿𝙴𝚁𝙴𝚉 𝚂𝚁. 𝙽𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻 𝙷𝙸𝙶𝙷 𝚂𝙲𝙷𝙾𝙾𝙻

Together with the parents, Sir 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐂. 𝐎𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨 introduced the new DepEd Curriculum, and the benefits. He also discussed about the new rules and regulations inside and outside of the classrooms.

The JHS teachers discussed the new Grading System for Junior high students and Ma'am 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐓. 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐲 focused on expanding the knowledge of everyone about the Behavioral Contract and School Policies as the Guidance Designate, while SHS teachers discussed the new Strengthened Three-Term-System for Senior high students.

Capt. 𝐌𝐲𝐫𝐚 𝐑. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 also delivered a speech for the parents regarding about the safety protocol of the students outside of the school, furthermore, PTA President 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐨 𝐍. 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐞 also provided a fun short ice breaker for all, with prizes!

𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒:

1. The entry must be created through digital ONLY to make a digital art (ex; electronics/phone). Traditional art is not allowed. The participants should start creating their own entries after the announcement of the contest/program.

2. Students must use two apps only; Canva, and PicsArt. The use of AI is prohibited. (Honesty is the best Policy)

3. The art should be originally created by the participants and the 𝔻𝔸ℙ𝕊ℕℍ𝕊 logo should be included into the art (the logo is in the comment section).

4. The art must consist of; The Philippine flag, your best Filipino/tagalog quote for Independence day, “iAmadean” text should be visible, your own art, ideas, and design. (Take note: the quote must only be written in Filipino language.)

5. The deadline will be June 11, 1:00 p.m (late submissions will not be included.) The participants should POST/UPLOAD their own entries in their timelines using/captioning “ ”
(otherwise, they won't be listed as a participant).

6. And the list of 5 WINNERS will be posted at the SSLG page (June 12, 2026) and will be announced at the awarding after the judgement (the entries will be judge anonymously by the SSLG officers and our beloved teachers of 𝔻𝔸ℙ𝕊ℕℍ𝕊). The winners will receive a "Starting-school Package" or Certificate of award from the SSLG at the second week of class (June 15, 2026) at Amadeo Perez Sr. National High School. (The winners will be ranked base on their entries, the best 3 will receive school supplies with certificate.)
