SLVHS INSET 2026 | Day 3

Learning never stops for teachers who are passionate about helping their learners grow. Today, March 14, 2026, marks the last day of the In-Service Training (INSET) of Silvino Lubos Vocational High School.

We were truly honored to have Dr. Nelida M. Lobos, Division Education Program Specialist for Science, as our Resource Speaker. She shared valuable insights about the Professional Learning Community (PLC)—reminding us that teaching is not just an individual journey, but a shared mission where teachers learn, grow, and support one another for the success of every learner.

Her inspiring discussion encouraged us to collaborate more, reflect on our practices, and continue improving the way we teach.

As the training comes to a close, we carry with us new knowledge, renewed motivation, and a stronger commitment to provide quality education for our learners.

Together we learn. Together we grow. Together we inspire.

Dreams walked the runway today at Silvino Lubos Vocational High School during the SHS Curriculum Exit of our Grade 11 and Grade 12 students today February 20, 2026 at the Evacuation Center, Silvino Lubos, N. Samar.

One of the most exciting parts of the program was when our Grade 12 students confidently wore their dream jobs on the fashion runway. From future teachers, nurses, police officers, engineers, and many more — each step they took showed courage, hope, and determination. It was more than just a runway walk; it was a proud moment of declaring who they want to become someday.

We were honored to have Mr. Fredo Sagonoy as our guest speaker. His inspiring words reminded our students to stay focused, work hard, and never give up on their goals no matter how challenging the journey may be.

The event was also graced by our supportive school head, Dr. Marilyn L. Baldoza, together with Assistant Principal Ma’am Juliana S. Arandia-Morado, our dedicated SHS teachers, and our Guidance Worker Designate, Dr. Khemweel M. Morillo. Their presence showed their strong support for the dreams and future of our learners.

Today, the Silvino Lubos Vocational High School (SLVHS) family gathered for its Monthly Mass, which also marked Ash Wednesday. Students, teachers, and staff came together to pray and reflect. As they received the ashes on their foreheads, they were reminded to stay humble, to say sorry for their mistakes, and to try to become better each day.
