Hope is growing for the tamaraw, with its population in Mounts Iglit-Baco Natural Park increasing by 12% in 2026. The tamaraw has been the proud mascot of Far Eastern University since 1933. Through its Save the Tamaraws Project and its long-standing partnership with the DENR-Tamaraw Conservation Program, FEU continues to support the conservation of this endangered species.
