The FEU Cavite Basic Education Department Research Office proudly presents ONWARD 2026, a transformative platform for high school students to showcase their research and reimagine the future of education. This year’s theme, "REIMAGINE: Basic Education in a Changing World," invites students to explore bold ideas that respond to today’s evolving challenges in education, society, and global citizenship.

By participating, students will have the opportunity to:

Following the insightful parallel sessions, Day 2 concluded with a closing program at the HED Gym, featuring a performance by FEU Cavite Grade 11 students. The program also included the awarding of certificates to participating schools. Mr. John Michael Calubag, Editor-in-Chief, presented the research conference proceedings of ONWARD 2024, while Ms. Jinna Rendaje, Co-Lead Convenor, shared the research conference proceedings for ONWARD 2025.

The same-day edit video for ONWARD 2025, created by FEU Cavite BED Simbuhan, highlighted the significance of the event in fostering collaboration and inspiring young researchers.

Parallel Sessions 1 and 2 of ONWARD 2025 set the stage for in-depth discussions as researchers delved into groundbreaking studies, unconventional concepts, and innovative insights. Held in the Higher Education Department (HED) and Basic Education Department (BED) at the HED Gym, the sessions covered a diverse range of topics, encouraging critical thinking, challenging existing perspectives, and sparking meaningful discussions on pressing global and academic issues.

𝐀 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏! ✨

This event would not have been possible without the participation of distinguished speakers from plenary sessions and forums, who kindly contributed their knowledge, and the generous support of our sponsors. Their presence enhanced the conversations and expanded viewpoints on the value of research, and the observations encouraged students to actively participate in the research landscape by highlighting the critical roles that advocacy, innovation, and teamwork have in tackling real-world problems. Participants learned a lot from stimulating speakers, which reaffirmed the importance of research in forming long-term solutions and bringing about significant change.

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝟐 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

Ms. Alessandra Amier Bañadera, CHRA, CMHFR, from Lakip Therapy Center, and PCPT Connie Panis Susmerano, from PNP Silang, discuss the role of research in addressing and breaking stigmas across various industries. Ms. Bañadera explains the relationship between mental literacy and mental stigma, while PCPT Susmerano challenges the stigma surrounding gender roles in the PNP. Both emphasize the value of immersive learning within their respective fields.
