We are excited to invite all online students of AIIAS—both new and returning—to our special Welcome Gathering at the beginning of the semester!

This special event is held every semester to welcome our new online students and reconnect with our returning students. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet one another, build connections, and begin the new semester together as one learning community.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Board Chair, Dr. Audrey Andersson!

Andrews University awarded Audrey Andersson a Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, on August 2, 2026, for her distinguished leadership in the global Seventh-day Adventist Church, her lifelong commitment to Christian communication and mission, and her faithful service across cultures. Dr. Andersson, general vice president for the Seventh-day Adventist World Church, has devoted her career to advancing Christian leadership, effective communication and global mission. Her career began with a successful tenure in journalism and communications before she transitioned into denominational leadership.

CONGRATULATIONS to our GC President, Dr. Erton Kohler!

Dr. Köhler was awarded his Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University, with his dissertation titled "Mission Refocus: A strategic realignment of the Seventh-Day Adventist worldwide mission effort in the context of the three Mission Refocus windows."

You have demonstrated that being very, very busy doesn't mean that a committed student can't complete his doctoral degree! May God continue to richly bless your leadership. AIIAS is cheering you on as you "Press on!"
