BUILDING A SAFE, INCLUSIVE, AND SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: ABACCAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL KICKS OFF NATIONAL SCHOOL SAFETY WEEK 2026 WITH FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY
Abaccan Integrated School officially opened National School Safety Week 2026 with a meaningful Flag-Raising Ceremony on October 12, 2026, at the school grounds. Gathered in unity, students, teachers, parents, guardians, and community stakeholders assembled at 7:00 AM to mark the beginning of a weeklong commitment to learner welfare and child protection.
Aligned with the national theme, the ceremony emphasized the collective responsibility of fostering a safe, inclusive, protective, and caring school environment. Highlights of the event included the solemn recitation of the Panata para sa Ligtas, Inklusibo, at Maalagang Paaralan, the unveiling of the School Safety Commitment Wall, and the introduction of the My Buddy System—an initiative designed to promote peer support, friendship, and care among learners.
Throughout the week (October 12–16, 2026), Abaccan Integrated School will conduct key activities centered on:
Child Protection & Learner Safety: Preventing bullying, violence, and abuse.
Digital Wellness: Promoting responsible digital citizenship and online safety.
Preparedness & Health: Enhancing disaster risk reduction, fire safety, and health awareness.
Mr. Jeffrey G. Sacpa expressed deep gratitude to the barangay officials, community partners, and parents whose presence reinforced that creating a safe learning environment is a shared mission.
Together, Abaccan Integrated School community stands united in ensuring that every learner feels safe, valued, protected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
