The brightest students arenโt always found in classrooms chasing academic distinctions. Often, they are in the student council office, buried in org work, serving as the torch that lights the path for others so they can reach their full potential. Behind those doors was Rhyns Eric Cabiosโknown to many as 'Pres Rhyns'โa student whose quiet sacrifices shaped his college years and made the journey easier for others.
Ironically, becoming an active student leader was never part of his original plan. โ๐ผ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

Balancing academics, org duties, and personal life demanded sacrifices that often went unseen. โ๐ป๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐

,โ pointing out that the true reward was knowing his work created opportunities for his fellow students through every initiative he helped lead.
He then explained that his inspiration came from the leaders he had observed throughout his time in college. โ๐ณ๐๐๐

Cabios notably served as President of UA-Antikythera for two consecutive school years, from 2023 to 2025. Most recently, in his fourth year, he stepped down as the organizationโs Assistant Secretary โ a position he also held in the CCIS Student Council. In every role, his contributions were evident, and their impact was felt across the organization.
His commitment was further recognized when he became one of the finalists for the Universityโs Social Responsibility Core Value Award. For him, social responsibility meant sincerity. โ๐ฐ๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐

Looking back after their graduation, Rhyns described his college journey as bittersweet.
Bitter, because he had to let go of a season that became his second home โ the classrooms, the meetings that turned into conversations, the projects that once felt impossible but were eventually accomplished.
Sweet, because every sacrifice and every small victory led to graduation.

One small โyesโ was all it took. As he moves forward, his torch continues to light the way for others โ inspiring future leaders to serve with humility, lead with purpose, and leave behind a legacy that outlasts any title.
