The Sebaste High School vibrantly celebrated National Women's Month with a resounding theme: "Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat Ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas". This powerful message resonated throughout the school as students, faculty, and staff united to acknowledge and celebrate the vital contributions of women in all aspects of Philippine society.
The celebration unfolded with a series of engaging activities designed to empower and inspire. The heart of the event lies in the creative expression of the student body, highlighted by a dynamic Poster Making Contest and a captivating Digital Art Making Contest. These contests provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents while exploring themes of female empowerment, gender equality, and the vital role of women in shaping a progressive future for the nation.
The event was expertly coordinated by the school's dedicated GAD Coordinators, Sannie Saligumba Galido and Cristal Jane Condino-Quioyo, in seamless collaboration with the Supreme Student Learners Government (SSLG) and the enthusiastic Grade 8 - Linnaeus & Book Lovers Club. It was made possible through the support of the school heads—our beloved Principal II, Dr. Ruthieda Varona Abong, and our supportive Head Teacher III, Sir Jean S. Tunguia—whose approval and encouragement played a vital role. Together, this team spearheaded the celebration, ensuring a meaningful and memorable event for the entire school community.
This collaborative effort highlights Sebaste High School's commitment to celebrating women's achievements and promoting gender equality within the school community and beyond.
