Empowering Our Schools: PRO 12 & DepEd Conduct Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill
Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12), in strong partnership with the Department of Education XII, successfully conducted The Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill at Reganit Elementary School.

This critical exercise is a key component of the PRO 12 Campaign Plan "ESKWELAHAN" (Education, Knowledge, and Lawful Action), focusing specifically on preparedness for an "Active Attack Accident."
The event was facilitated with the active participation and guidance of Police Master Sergeant Gemmabelle C. De Leon, Police Corporal Jestone Banton, and Cherylyn Labrador, alongside the dedicated personnel of PRO 12 /Maitum and DepEd XII.

The session featured formal lectures, scenario-based simulation drills, and practical instruction on the Threat Response Protocol (RUN • HIDE • FIGHT):

🚫 RUN (AVERT): Have an escape plan, leave belongings behind, and move to a secure location.

🔒 HIDE (DENY): Lock and barricade doors, turn out lights, and remain quiet.

🛡️ FIGHT (DEFEND): As a last resort, be bold, use surrounding objects for defense, and disable the attacker.

We remain committed to equipping our students and teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure safety and save lives. Special thanks to all participating PRO 12 officers, DepEd staff, and the students of Reganit Elementary for their exemplary cooperation.

"Be Prepared, Be Aware, Be Safe. Let's Work Together for a Safe and Secure School."
