Suspension of Event Due to Inclement Weather

Dear Participants, Guests and Visitors,

We regret to inform you that due to adverse weather conditions, the Socio-cultural competitions and closing program of our Notre Dame Week Celebration that was originally re-scheduled for this day, September 13, 2024 has been suspended.

The safety of our attendees is our top priority, and after careful consideration, we have decided that proceeding with the event would pose a risk.

We are currently assessing alternative dates and will provide an update as soon as possible. Please keep an eye on our official page for the latest information and rescheduling details.

To all Dameans, Parents/ Guardians,

In light of the safety of our students, we are issuing this advisory to inform you of the suspension of all socio-cultural events in our school effective today, September 12, 2024 due to inclement weather and unexpected power interruption.

This measure is taken to ensure the safety and well-being of our community members.

The resumption of these events shall be on September 13, 2024, 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon to be held at Maitum Municipal Gymnasium.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period. Thank you.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Start of New School Comfort Rooms

In a significant development for the school community, the groundbreaking ceremony for new comfort rooms at Notre Dame of Maitum, Inc. was held today. The event, attended by school officials, PTBA Officers, donors and community members, marks the beginning of a crucial infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving student facilities.

The new comfort rooms will feature modern amenities, including accessible facilities, improved sanitation, and environmentally friendly fixtures. This project is part of a broader initiative by the PTBA (Parents, Teachers, Benefactors and Alumni) to enhance the overall learning environment and address long-standing infrastructure needs.

Mr. Nortachu L. Duque, the Principal expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, "These new comfort rooms are a vital step in ensuring our students have access to high-quality facilities. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this project a reality."

PTBA officials also highlighted the importance of investing in school infrastructure. "This project reflects our commitment to supporting our educational institutions and providing students with the best possible environment for learning and growth", Mrs. Cherry Damasco, the PTBA President.

The project is anticipated to enhance the overall school experience and contribute to the well-being of both students and staff.

The ceremony concluded with a symbolic turning of the soil, blessing and a shared vision for a brighter future for Notre Dame of Maitum, Inc.
