As a precautionary measure following the Magnitude 7.1 earthquake, with Intensity V felt in the Municipality of Malungon, classes in ALL LEVELS, both Public and Private Schools, are SUSPENDED this afternoon, August 5, 2026, pursuant to MDRRMC Memorandum Order No. 20, s. 2026.

Students, parents, and school personnel are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official announcements from the Local Government Unit of Malungon, and prioritize safety, especially in the event of possible aftershocks.

As a precautionary measure in response to Tropical Depression "KIYAPO" and the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon, and the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall that may cause localized flooding and landslides, classes in ALL LEVELS, both PUBLIC and PRIVATE SCHOOLS in the Municipality of Malungon, are hereby SUSPENDED on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Students are advised to remain at home and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. Parents and guardians are urged to keep their children away from rivers, creeks, flood-prone and landslide-prone areas. Everyone is encouraged to stay vigilant, monitor official weather advisories, and follow the directives of the Municipal Government.
