The Northern Iloilo State University - Victorino Salcedo Sara Campus proudly joins the nationwide observance of National Heritage Month (NHM) in promoting awareness, respect, and love for the rich cultural history and legacy of the Filipino people.

Through the initiative of the Office of the Socio-Cultural Affairs, meaningful and engaging activities will be conducted to celebrate and honor our heritage, including:

• Heritage Quiz Bee
• Heritage Vlog Challenge
• Essay Writing Contest
• Poster Making Contest
• Indigenous Dance Presentation and Exhibit

These activities provide participants with opportunities to showcase their understanding, creativity, patriotism, and appreciation of Philippine heritage and culture.

Please be informed that the NCAT application will reopen from May 18 to 20, 2026 for onsite application only.

Who are eligible to apply?

Those who were not able to apply in any NISU campuses during the previous application period.

Applicants are encouraged to visit NISU-VSSC Registrar’s Office within the given schedule and bring the necessary requirements for application.

Please be guided accordingly.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄| 𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊: Through the collaborative efforts of other campuses of Northern Iloilo State University (NISU), together with local donors, student fire victims of NISU-VSC received relief goods and other essential necessities. All donations were received and facilitated by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) under the supervision of OSAS Director Dr. Renette Valderrama, and under the leadership of our Campus Administrator Dr. Joey S. De la Cruz.
With the assistance of the three major organizations in the packing and distribution of these donations, along with the help of students in carrying and transporting the items, this initiative reflects the strong spirit of unity and compassion—bringing timely support and hope to those affected.

NISU-VSSC Graduation Pictorial Guidelines and Schedules

To ensure a smooth and organized graduation pictorial, all graduating students are advised to follow the guidelines.

Compliance Reminder:

All students are required to strictly follow the prescribed attire, grooming, and appearance guidelines.

Failure to comply will result in rescheduling of the pictorial session.

The Board of Regents, through the Office of the Board Secretary, hereby publicly announces the appointment of DR. RAFFY B. CHAVEZ as the 2nd University President of Northern Iloilo State University.

The Board of Regents convened for a Special Board Meeting at the CHED Central Office on April 23, 2026, presided over by CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, during which the appointment was formally approved.

The Iloilo Provincial Government is officially opening applications for the Iskolar sang Iloilo Program (ISIP)!

ISIP is a four-to-five-year college scholarship dedicated to supporting poor but deserving students across the province in their pursuit of higher education.
Slot Availability: A total of 125 scholars will be selected (25 per district).
