Santiago National High School (SNHS) successfully conducted its Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Assembly, coinciding with the Term 1 card distribution for Grades 7–12, bringing parents, teachers, and school stakeholders together to discuss important school updates, accomplishments, and student concerns.
The assembly was hosted by Mr. Christian Ea and formally opened with a prayer led by Mrs. Noralyn Ancheta, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Mrs. Leah Banasan.
The program continued with the opening remarks of FPTA President Pastor Mervin Ancheta, who welcomed the parents and emphasized the importance of collaboration between parents and the school in supporting learners’ development and success.
One of the highlights of the assembly was the presentation of the school’s accomplishments for School Year 2025–2026, delivered by Mrs. Mary Ann Cabatic. The presentation provided parents and stakeholders with an overview of the school’s programs, activities, and achievements throughout the academic year.
This was followed by the presentation of the Term 2 School Calendar by Mrs. Chateline Dulay, who discussed important dates and scheduled activities to help parents and students prepare for the upcoming term.
The assembly also tackled matters concerning student discipline, particularly the derogatory offenses outlined in the updated Student Handbook. The discussion was facilitated by Mrs. Karina Rose Ganibe and Ms. Lara Mae Agbulos, who explained the relevant provisions, penalties and underscored the importance of promoting respectful and responsible behavior among students.
Meanwhile, Dr. Pacita Quitoriano emphasized the importance of "KINNAMAYET" or unity to bring all close together with a shared vision for the benefit of the learners.
The PTA Assembly concluded with the distribution of Term 1 report cards in the respective classrooms, where parents and guardians met with their children's advisers to receive the learners’ academic records and discuss their progress.
The gathering served as an avenue for strengthening communication and partnership among the school, parents, and the wider community, reinforcing their shared commitment to providing quality education and nurturing responsible learners.
