The Human Development Center together with the ULS Psychological Society, proudly launched the 𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭 𝓜𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓽𝓱 𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓱 2026 celebration in our University with the theme “𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔: 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑽𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔, 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆.”

Our kick-off activity was filled with simple yet meaningful moments that reminded us that a little encouragement, a kind word, and a listening heart can make a difference. 💖

From meaningful messages to laughter and smiles, the activity created an opportunity for our University community to connect, express, and celebrate mental well-being together.

This October, the University of La Salette – Human Development Center (HDC) joins the global celebration of Mental Health Month with a meaningful reminder: behind every smile is a story, behind every struggle is a person deserving of compassion, and behind every voice is an opportunity to create change.

Mental health is more than a conversation, it is about listening to real stories, acknowledging lived experiences and building a community where everyone feels safe, heard, affirmed, validated, supported and cared for.

Through this year's theme, "𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨: 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚," we recognize the power of sharing our stories and listening to others. Every experience matters. Every voice deserves to be heard. And every small act of understanding can make a difference.

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | To provide the Salettinian community time to rest and recuperate following the recent Foundation Day celebrations, all classes and office operations at the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) are suspended from September 21 to 23.

Classes and regular office operations will resume on Thursday, September 24.

Please be guided accordingly.

Isa sa madalas na iniisip ng mga tao pagdating sa su***de ay kapag pinag-usapan daw ito, na-encourage raw ang taong gawin 'to. Mali po. Isa sa simple at mabuting paraan para mas maiwasan ang su***de ay ang pakikinig at pagkakaroon ng pang-unawa sa nararamdaman ng isang tao. Hindi mo kailangang sabihin na huwag na nilang gawin 'yon dahil alam nilang hindi naman ito dapat gawin, mas mabuting makinig at hayaan sila na maglabas ng kanilang saloobin. Sa ganitong paraan, kahit paano nababawasan ang bigat at nakakatulong para maramdaman nilang hindi sila mag-isa.

Kaya ang ating paalala: piliin nating maging ligtas na espasyo sa mga taong mahalaga sa atin. Ang simpleng pangangamusta ay may malaking dulot sa kanila. Piliin din nating maging ligtas palagi. Huwag kakalimutan ang sarili.

✅ Registration and attendance checking will begin at 12:00 noon.
✅ Participants are expected to stay until the end of the program.

Join us as we introduce you to the university's programs, services, policies, and the Salettinian way of life.
