ADVISORY | Class and Work Suspension

Please be informed that classes at all levels in both public and private schools, as well as work in government offices, are SUSPENDED on Friday, July 24, 2026, due to the scheduled power interruption.

This suspension is in accordance with Municipal Memorandum No. 24 issued by the Municipality of Santiago, Ilocos Sur.

Happening Now | Anti-Bullying Awareness Lecture

Santiago North Central School is currently conducting an Anti-Bullying Awareness Lecture led by PTL Honesto Salcedo IV and Police Corporal Elvira Daquigan of the Philippine National Police.

This timely activity aims to educate our learners on the importance of preventing bullying, promoting respect and kindness, and creating a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly school environment. Through this lecture, our learners are gaining valuable insights into recognizing bullying, understanding its effects, and learning the proper ways to respond and seek help.

Together, let us continue to foster a culture of respect, empathy, and responsibility, where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered.

School Visit and Project Monitoring

Santiago North Central School was honored to welcome Regional Director Estela P. Leon-Cariño and her team, together with PSDS Dr. Buenafe Medrano, for the monitoring and inspection of the ongoing Learning Continuity Space (LCS) building project.

The visit reflects the Department of Education's commitment to ensuring that school infrastructure projects are implemented efficiently and meet quality standards, providing learners with a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.

We sincerely thank Regional Director Leon-Cariño, PSDS Dr. Buenafe Medrano, and company for their guidance, support, and dedication to improving educational facilities for our learners.

📝 First Summative Test

Today, our learners took the First Summative Test, an important assessment designed to measure their understanding of the lessons covered during the grading period.

This activity reflects our commitment to monitoring learners' progress and providing meaningful opportunities for them to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. We commend our pupils for their hard work, preparation, and determination throughout the assessment.

📚 School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session

Last Friday, our school successfully conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session featuring an Orientation-cum-Workshop on the Midterm Review of the School Improvement Plan (SIP) 2024–2029 and the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) 2026.

The session served as a venue for school personnel to review the progress of the School Improvement Plan, evaluate accomplishments, identify areas for enhancement, and align strategies for the effective implementation of the Annual Implementation Plan. Through collaboration and shared commitment, the school continues to strengthen its programs and initiatives in pursuit of quality education and continuous improvement.

Together, we remain dedicated to fostering excellence, accountability, and meaningful school development for the benefit of every learner.
