Two promising student-athletes from DepEd Tayo Sinalhan IHS - Santa Rosa City represented Santa Rosa City school in the Regional Athletics Association Meet (RAAM) after successfully qualifying through the elimination rounds. Rommel Mendoza of Grade 10 and Micaella Bolor of Grade 7 showcased determination, discipline, and competitive spirit as they competed among the region’s finest athletes.
Although both athletes gave their best efforts during the regional competition, they were unable to secure a podium finish in their respective events. Despite this outcome, their qualification alone marks a significant achievement, reflecting their hard work and dedication throughout their training and the qualifying stages.
Under the guidance of their coach, Jefferson M. Reyes, Mendoza and Bolor gained valuable experience competing at a higher level, which will serve as an important stepping stone for their future athletic development.
