Four student research teams from Pedro Mariscal National High School (PMNHS) have earned their place at the ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐…๐š๐ข๐ซ 2026 after securing top spots in the TUKLASโ€“Research Category during the Division Science and Technology Fair held on September 24, 2026.

Their achievement marks an exciting milestone for PMNHS as these learners become the schoolโ€™s pioneer student-researchers to advance to the Regional level, bringing with them not only their research projects but also the schoolโ€™s growing culture of scientific inquiry, innovation, and discovery.

What a wonderful way to begin our Science and Technology Fair! Today, Pedro Mariscal National High School officially opened the ๐‘บ๐’„๐’‰๐’๐’๐’ ๐‘บ๐’„๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’„๐’† ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘ป๐’†๐’„๐’‰๐’๐’๐’๐’๐’ˆ๐’š ๐‘ญ๐’‚๐’Š๐’“ 2026, bringing together our learners, teachers, and the entire school community in a celebration of curiosity, discovery, and innovation. Guided by this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œHarnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future Through Science and Innovation,โ€ we are excited for the many opportunities and experiences that await our learners.

We started the celebration with the ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’ ๐’€๐’๐’– ๐‘บ๐’„๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’„๐’† ๐‘ฐ๐’•?โ€ Trivia Round, where grade-level representatives went head-to-head through the Easy, Average, and Difficult rounds. It was a fun and exciting way to challenge our learnersโ€™ scientific knowledge, sharpen their thinking, and show that learning Science can be both meaningful and enjoyable.

The celebration also featured the ๐’๐’‚๐’•๐’‰-๐’•๐’‚๐’Œ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’๐’‡ ๐’๐’–๐’“ ๐‘บ๐‘ท๐‘จ๐‘น๐‘ฒ ๐‘ช๐’๐’–๐’ƒ ๐’๐’‡๐’‡๐’Š๐’„๐’†๐’“๐’”. Congratulations to our newly inducted officers of SPARK (Science Pioneers Advancing Research and Knowledge). We look forward to seeing you lead with curiosity, integrity, creativity, and passion as you inspire your fellow learners to explore Science, research, and innovation.

With so much to look forward to this school year, we encourage everyone to stay connected with their Science teachers for announcements, schedules, and further instructions as we continue this exciting journey together.

And this is only the beginning.
