St. Mary’s Montessori de Laguna proudly celebrated United Nations Day last Friday, October 24, 2025, with the vibrant theme “Global Connections: Cultures Without Borders.” Our students lit up the stage in unity, diversity, and pride—proving that when cultures come together, the world becomes brighter. 💫
One world. One family. One future. 🌏❤️

The celebration featured meaningful and exciting activities that showcased the talents and cultural appreciation of the Marians. The Little Ms. and Mr. United Nations for the Elementary Department highlighted the students’ confidence as they represented different countries with grace and charm. Meanwhile, the Mr. and Ms. United Nations for the High School Department displayed elegance, intelligence, and cultural awareness through their costumes and interviews.

Students also brought the world to life through vibrant traditional and modern dances from various countries, showing how music and movement can connect people across cultures. The United Nations Quiz Bee tested their knowledge about world history, global issues, international leaders, and cultural traditions—encouraging teamwork and critical thinking. To complete the celebration, the Food Festival offered a taste of global flavors, allowing students to explore and appreciate the uniqueness of different cuisines.

Through these activities, students learned the value of respect, cultural appreciation, global awareness, teamwork, and unity. They discovered that despite our differences, we all share a common goal—to build a peaceful and connected world.
