A Spectacle of Elegance: SRES Foundation Day Celebration Shines Brighter Than Ever ✨💚
The recently concluded Foundation Day celebration was nothing short of spectacular as candidates graced the stage with elegance, confidence, and undeniable charm. Their production number set the tone for the entire event- grand, colorful, and full of youthful energy. The audience was treated to a dazzling showcase as candidates competed for various awards, including Best in Production Number, Best in Jeans Wear, Best in Barong/Tuxedo, and Best in Long Gown. Minor awards were also presented, adding excitement and spotlighting the unique qualities of each participant.
The celebration became even more meaningful with the presence of respected local leaders who took time to join the festivities. Among the distinguished guests were Vice Mayor Hon. Liezel Teves and SB Education Committee Chair Hon. Eva Arni Impuerto. Representing Barangay Panikian headed by Hon. Glenn T. Paslangan are the Barangay Education Committee Chair Hon. Alan Menor and the SK Kagawads. The unwavering support of General PTA President Junald Salabao and SGC President Janette Payodon added to the warmth and unity felt throughout the program.
San Roque Elementary School, under the leadership of its ever-dedicated and hardworking School Head Ma’am Gina R. Pagalan, extends its heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their continuous support. Their presence, encouragement, and commitment to their children’s growth and the school’s endeavors are truly invaluable.
Yesterday’s celebration stood as a reminder of what the school community can achieve- unity in spirit, excellence in performance, and joy in shared milestones. It was indeed a day to remember, a day where every participant shone, and a day that celebrated not just the institution but the entire San Roque ES family.

San Roque Elementary School Shines at Panagsambok 2025 🌾
San Roque Elementary School proudly participated in Panagsambok 2025, a vibrant celebration honoring Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED) learners through traditional Filipino games and cultural activities. The event brought together learners from different schools to showcase their skills, teamwork, and appreciation for larong lahi- a meaningful reminder of the richness of our Filipino heritage.
During the celebration, San Roque ES learners demonstrated exceptional talent and sportsmanship, bringing pride to the school with their outstanding achievements:
• Prince William Duenas – 1st Place, Luksong Tinik
• Kevin Carismal – 1st Place, Tumba Lata
• Kerk Dever Mabayao – 3rd Place, Tumba Lata
Their remarkable performances highlighted their dedication and enthusiasm in preserving and participating in culturally rooted games.
The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to School IPED Coordinator Ma’am Aibe D. Ponso and Ma’am Jufery P. Labajo whose guidance, preparation, and continued support greatly contributed to the learners’ success during the event. Their commitment ensured that the students were well-prepared and confident representatives of the school.
San Roque ES also expresses sincere gratitude to the ever-supportive School Head, Ma’am Gina R. Pagalan, whose leadership and encouragement made the school’s participation in Panagsambok 2025 both meaningful and memorable.

Where Stories Come Alive: A Celebration of Books, Creativity, and Young Minds 🧠
The school campus buzzed with excitement as students celebrated their much-awaited Book Parade Day, a joyful event dedicated to creativity, literacy, and the magic of storytelling. The morning was filled with a series of enriching activities that allowed learners to showcase their talents in reading, speaking, spelling, and artistic expression. One of the highlights was the Draw and Tell activity, where young artists illustrated scenes from their chosen stories and confidently explained their work.

Rising Voices: SRES Journalists Shine at the Banaybanay District Journalism Writeshop
The world of campus journalism came alive today during the Banaybanay District Journalism Writeshop for Campus Journalists, held at Banaybanay Central Elementary School. Young writers, photographers, and communicators from across the district gathered for a day filled with learning, creativity, and friendly competition.
Among the standout delegates were the passionate campus journalists from San Roque Elementary School, who demonstrated remarkable skill, determination, and teamwork in every category they joined.
San Roque Elementary School proudly brought home several awards:
• Andrea Samantha M. Payodon- 2nd Place in Photojournalism (Filipino)
• Ariana G. Parohinog- 3rd Place in Newswriting (Filipino)
• Sophia Claire M. Salabao- 4th Place in Editorial Writing (Filipino)
• Aerza Delima- 5th Place in Editorial Writing (English)
Another highlight of the day was the recognition for Best in School Uniform, proudly awarded to Ms. Andrea Samantha M. Payodon of San Roque Elementary School, whose neatness, bearing, and confidence captivated the judges. Her achievement brought joy to the entire team and highlighted the school’s strong sense of identity and pride. She also shone brightly after achieving Ms. Campus Journalist- 4th Placer, displaying confidence, grace, and charm throughout the event.
These accomplishments were made even more meaningful through the unwavering guidance and heartfelt support of their beloved school head, Ma’am Gina R. Pagalan, whose leadership continues to inspire the young journalists to do their best. The entire team extends their deepest gratitude to her for being a constant source of encouragement.
A warm and special thanks is also extended to Ma’am Ellaine Mae L. Alerta, whose assistance in preparing the Mr. and Ms. Campus Journalist representatives ensured they looked confident, polished, and ready to shine. Her dedication played a big role in boosting the students’ morale and stage presence.
More than just a competition, today’s writeshop celebrated young voices- voices ready to report, inform, inspire, and make a meaningful impact through responsible journalism. For the learners of San Roque Elementary School, every award reflects not only skill and hard work but also the strong support system standing proudly behind them.
In the end, today’s writeshop was more than just a gathering of young journalists. It was a celebration of passion, grit, and the unstoppable spirit of the youth. The victories earned by San Roque Elementary School echoed not only their talent but also the united strength of an entire community that believes in them. To the whole SRES family- teachers, parents, coaches, and supporters, thank you for standing behind every child, cheering for every effort, and lifting every dream.
