SAN PEDRO CITY, LAGUNA โ September 12, 2026. The Schools Division Office of San Pedro City officially kicked off its Teachersโ Month Celebration through a lively Fun Run and Zumba Competition, in collaboration with the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA) โ San Pedro City and the Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations (FPTA).
The celebration began with the Fun Run, bringing together teachers and personnel from across the division for a morning of fitness, camaraderie, and fellowship. The activity was followed by a Mass Zumba at Pacita 1 Integrated School, where participants energized the celebration through music and movement.
Adding excitement to the event was the Zumba Competition, where different clusters showcased their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Cluster 2 emerged as the champion, followed by Cluster 3 in second place and Cluster 8 in third place.
The Fun Run also recognized its top finishers. In the Male Category, the top five were Marlon Mahiya of Landayan ES, Miller Seringan of Cuyab ES, Manuel Cepe of Landayan ES, Mark Kevin Tormento of SPRCNHS, and Rommel Remoquillo of Landayan ES. In the Female Category, the top finishers were Sunshine De Borja of Cuyab ES, Criselda Taller of Landayan ES, Rozzle Fuentes of Sto. Niรฑo ES, Sandy Horlador of Rosario Complex ES, and Angelica Millan of Cuyab ES.
The successful activity highlighted the spirit of health, unity, teamwork, and appreciation as SDO San Pedro City begins its month-long celebration honoring the dedication and invaluable contributions of teachers.
