IT'S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY

There is a stigma around mental health struggles, with the expectation that individuals should always appear happy, confident and put-together. But the reality is that everyone faces challenges, setbacks and difficult emotions at different points in their lives.

Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief - these are all natural human experiences that shouldn't be judged or minimized. What's important is creating an environment where people feel safe to acknowledge and work through their feelings, rather than feeling pressure to hide or suppress them.

The message "it's okay to not be okay" helps validate that range of human emotion. It reminds us that we all have ups and downs, good days and bad days. And that's perfectly normal and acceptable. The key is having compassion for ourselves and others during those times when we're not feeling our best.
