FaSCInating SNES: Exploring the Wonders of Science! 🌟
San Nicolas Elementary School proudly held its first-ever Science Exhibit dubbed as “FaSCInating SNES in SCIENCETADIA”, in celebration of Science Month 2025 with the theme “Innovating Today, Sustaining Tomorrow.”
During the first week of September, pupils embarked on an exciting gallery walk through six themed stations that sparked curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Each grade level showcased engaging experiments and hands-on activities that connected classroom lessons to real-life science applications.
🔬 The Six Stations:
🌋 Earth Explorers (Grade 1) – Pupils enjoyed volcano eruptions, tornadoes in a bottle, and the magic of the water cycle.
🌱 Life Science Corner (Grade 2) – Young scientists explored seed germination, magnified plant parts, and animal sound games.
⚡ Energy & Motion Zone (Grade 3) – Learners launched DIY rockets, glided hovercraft balloons, and built simple circuits.
🧪 Chemistry Fun Lab (Grade 4) – Kids created colorful foams, tested acids and bases and made raisins dance in soda.
🌌 Space & Beyond (Grade 5) – Pupils discovered the solar system, learned moon phases and met the astronomers.
🎉 Wacky Science Carnival (Grade 6) – Learners had fun with slime, oobleck, giant bubbles, and swirling rainbow milk experiments.
The exhibit successfully bridged science learning with fun experiences, while highlighting the talents and innovations of SNES pupils. It also fostered collaboration among teachers, learners, and stakeholders in promoting science and technology education.
💡 At FaSCInating SNES, science truly came alive—not just as a subject, but as an adventure. Innovation, discovery, and excitement filled the halls of SCIENCEtadia, making this event a memorable milestone for our young Sciencenatics! 🌟✨
A great appreciation to all teachers, parents and learners who were behind the success of this activity headed by our fascinating School Head Dr. Orlando A. Pascua.
To God be the Glory!
