Laureta NHS Excels at Lutong NutriBiz 2026

TAGUM CITY — Laureta National High School once again demonstrated excellence in culinary innovation as its Senior High School students emerged among the winners during the Lutong NutriBiz Competition 2026, held on July 25, 2026, at the Rotary Multi-Purpose Building, through the initiative of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tagum.

Representing the school were Hanney Aniel, Eula Gia Torreon, and Jhayhan Bacsal, who showcased their skills, creativity, and teamwork in developing nutritious and marketable food products.

DepEd Tagum celebrates Double Gold Glory

The entire DepEd Tagum community is beaming with pride as we celebrate the incredible achievement of our very own math prodigy, Joanamarie Candice Senillo of Magugpo Pilot Imelda Elementary School .

Joanamarie recently proved her world-class brilliance on the international stage, bringing home Gold Medals from both the Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad (PhIMO) and the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO).

Her immense talent and hard work were formally celebrated during a heartwarming national awarding ceremony at the UP Diliman Bahay ng Alumni on July 12, 2026, where she stood proudly alongside the brightest young minds from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Joanamarie, your dedication doesn't just bring honor to Tagum City—it inspires every young student in our community to dream big, work hard, and reach for the stars.
