Good Friday reminds us of the day of darkness, when Jesus suffered, nailed, and ultimately died on the cross. It marks the end of His mission towards humanity, and His sacrifice to pardon us from all our sins.

"Eloi, Eloi, lema sabchthani?" directly translates to "God, God, why have you forsaken me?"

Even though we feel like God isn't noticing our pains, our sacrifices, let us remember that He always loves us as He lightens the crosses we carry through Jesus' sacrifice, for He loves us so much that He offered His only son to save us from all our sins.

Palm Sunday reminds us of the moment Jesus entered the gates of Jerusalem, where people rejoiced, raising palms to welcome the Lord. It also marks the beginning of a week in which His passion unfolded.

May the palms we carry today symbolize unwavering faith and love, that through Jesus we can find the way to holiness. Let us remember Jesus’ passion and enter the Holy Week with solemn prayers and reflection.

Va**ng is not a 'safe' alternative; it exposes the lungs to toxic chemicals like formaldehyde and heavy metals that can cause irreversible lung damage."
β€”Dr. Lawrence Loh, Public Health Specialist

Don’t let a "moment of escape" cloud your future. While many turn to va**ng thinking it reduces anxiety, it actually creates a cycle of ni****ne dependence that can increase stress and restlessness over time. Beyond the physical harm, it affects your focus, your energy, and your overall well-being.

As Paulinians, we are called to be stewards of God’s creation and that starts with our own bodies. Our health is a gift that allows us to serve others and "let our light shine." Choosing to stay vape-free is an act of discipline, self-respect, and responsibility to the community.

Choose health. Choose life. Say NO to ci******es and va**ng before it’s too late. Your lungs deserve better than a moment of escape. ✨

From leading with passion to leaving a legacy, congratulations, PSG Emeritus!
✨

You showed up, took responsibility, and made things happen in ways that mattered. The work you did, the people you stood for, and the moments you helped create won’t be forgotten anytime soon. That kind of leadership sticks.

Now you’re moving forward with more than just a diploma, you’re bringing with you experience, grit, and a sense of purpose that can’t be taught in a classroom.

Emeritus isn’t just a title you leave behind, it’s something you carry with you.

We are proud of you, always. Congratulations!
