Today, we gather as one community of faith to celebrate Ash Wednesday, a sacred day that marks the beginning of the Lenten season. It is a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal — a moment to pause from our daily routines and turn our hearts more deeply toward God.
The ashes placed on our foreheads remind us of our human frailty and our need for God’s mercy. As we hear the words, “Repent and believe in the Gospel,” we are called to humility, conversion, and sincere transformation of life.
Ash Wednesday invites us to begin a spiritual journey of prayer, fasting, and acts of charity — practices that help us grow in faith, compassion, and love for others.
For our school community, this celebration is not only a tradition but a meaningful opportunity to renew our commitment to live as true followers of Christ. May this holy day inspire each of us to seek forgiveness, practice kindness, and walk together in faith as we prepare our hearts throughout the Lenten season.
