Nutrition Month Celebration ๐๐ฒ๐ฅ
In line with the celebration of the 52nd National Nutrition Month this July 2026, with the theme, "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan,"Daoidao Elementary School officially launched its Nutrition Month activities to promote healthy eating habits and environmental awareness among learners.
As part of the opening program,Ma'am Consuelo B. Bose, EPP Coordinator, delivered an informative discussion on the importance of eating nutritious foods. She emphasized that consuming a balanced diet is essential for maintaining good health, improving learning performance, and preventing illnesses.
She also encouraged learners to develop healthy eating habits and become responsible stewards of the environment.
After the discussion, the school conducted Nutrition and Environment Advocacy Activities to reinforce the month's theme.
The activities included the Go, Grow, and Glow Foods lesson, where learners identified the three food groups and learned about their roles in maintaining a healthy and balanced diet. They also participated in a Coloring Activity on Fruits and Vegetables, which enhanced their appreciation of nutritious foods while developing their creativity.
Another meaningful activity focused on ways to avoid food waste. Learners discussed simple yet practical ways to reduce food waste, such as taking only the amount of food they could finish, storing leftovers properly, and appreciating the value of every meal.

The celebration reinforced the school's commitment in promoting healthy lifestyles and responsible environmental practices among all learners.
