β¨π SCHOOL-BASED INSET 2026 πβ¨
A day of learning, collaboration, innovation, and professional growth!
Our school successfully conducted a meaningful and enriching School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) 2026, aimed at strengthening teachers' competencies in the development, utilization, integration, organization, and effective management of teaching and learning resources.
The day commenced with Topic 1: "Selecting Appropriate Teaching and Learning Resources Based on Learning Goals and Learning Needs," facilitated by Salvador O. Aprecio, TII.
The session highlighted the importance of selecting relevant, appropriate, and learner-centered resources that are aligned with learning objectives and responsive to the diverse needs of learners.
We were also privileged to be visited by our Public Schools District Supervisor, Ma'am Rhoda P. Asencio, who generously shared valuable insights, practical guidance, and inspiring experiences. Her message encouraged teachers to embrace educational research as a powerful tool for enhancing teaching practices, addressing classroom challenges, and improving learner outcomes. ππ
Her presence reminded us that meaningful professional growth flourishes when leaders and teachers work together, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
We sincerely thank her for her wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering support for both teachers and learners.
The learning journey continued with Topic 2: "Developing Contextualized and Localized Instructional Materials," facilitated by Glorina M. Capuyan, TIII. The session guided teachers in developing instructional materials that reflect learners' local culture, environment, experiences, and realities, making learning more meaningful, relevant, and engaging.
For Topic 3: "ICT Integration in Teaching and Learning," Hanna Jane P. Bagani, TII facilitated an interactive session that emphasized the purposeful integration of technology into classroom instruction. Teachers explored innovative strategies and digital resources that can enhance engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes.
Following the lunch break, the discussion on ICT integration continued under the facilitation of Delia G. Blaza, TI, who shared additional insights on Microsoft Copilot and practical approaches to maximizing digital tools and resources for effective teaching and learning.
The day concluded with Topic 4: "Organizing and Managing Teaching and Learning Resources," facilitated by Hanna Jane P. Bagani, TII. The session emphasized the importance of proper organization, accessibility, maintenance, and responsible management of learning resources to ensure their efficient and sustainable use in supporting quality instruction.
The successful implementation of this professional learning activity was made possible through the guidance, leadership, and unwavering support of our School Principal, Ma'am Emely B. Donato. Through her vision, encouragement, and dedication, our school community came together for a productive and inspiring day of professional development.
Indeed, School-Based INSET 2026 was more than just a training activity.
It was an opportunity for teachers to learn, share, reflect, collaborate, and grow together as educational professionals.
