STUDENT & DEPENDENTS VISA REFUSALS SUCCESSFULLY OVERTURNED THRU JUDICIAL REVIEW (APPEAL) FOR RENALYN SABUITO & FAMILY – CONGRATULATIONS!! 🇨🇦

Early this year, we started offering the “judicial review” as a legal remedy particularly for refused study permit clients who think that the Visa Officer has committed an error(s), ignored vital information/evidence, did not follow the due process and/or has been unreasonable or unfair in refusing their visa application - including those who were refused twice or even more.

The “judicial review” gives the applicant the opportunity to challenge the refusal decision of the Visa Officer in the federal court thru the assistance of a Canadian Immigration lawyer.

We just got our first successful appeal thru judicial review case as represented in the federal court by our Kurzfeld Law Immigration lawyers for the refused visa cases of SP client, Renalyn Sabuito and her dependents as follows:

Date of Refusal: 21 December 2021
Date Settled in Court: 25 April 2022
Date of Visa Approval: 11 May 2022 for the following visas

1. Renalyn Sabuito – Student Permit
2. Adrian Sabuito – Open Work Permit (Full time)
3. Lucian Blake Sabuito – V-1 (Visitor Visa-Multiple)
4. Lyian Britanny Sabuito – Open Study Permit (Free education)

With the grant of her student visa, Renalyn is now prepared to pursue her 2 year Diploma in Business at the Sault College in Ste. Marie, Ontario. While studying, she can work part time off campus for up to 20 hrs. per week and full time during scheduled breaks.

After graduation, she is eligible for a full time Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) up to 3 years which will help her in qualifying for PR thru the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Her study program is also eligible for a direct PR pathway thru the Rural & Northern Immigration Pilot Program (RNIP) available at the Ste. Marie, ON

Congrats to our client, Mr. Aljon Mupas, on the recent approval of his student permit last 28 January 2022 by the Canadian Embassy - Manila thru the assistance of our Visa & Immigration Team and thereby, start the 2022 brand new year on a optimistic note towards pursuing global education, career advancement & migration opportunities in Canada

Aljon, a Bachelor Degree in Political Science graduate, will study the globally recognized Post Graduate Certificate in International Development program at the Centennial College in Ontario.
