TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION
"I love the LORD, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy."
(Psalm 116:1, NIV)
REFLECTION:
Do I have confidence in God and believe that He hears my prayers, my heart's desire, and my deepest longings and concerns?
My voice, my cries for mercy, my prayers and petitions, do these go up and reach the ears of our gracious God?
In the midst of all my worries and problems, do I still make sure that all my requests are ALIGNED to His will?
ACTION POINT:
The Bible reminds me that when I talk or pray to God, He has promised to listen and respond (Matthew 6:6)
Truly, as long as it is according to His WILL, He hears all of my petitions and concerns; He does not ignore and cares enough to respond.
I will not be anxious about anything. But in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I will present my requests to God.
Now that I am the righteousness of God in Christ JESUS, my prayer is powerful and effective. (James 15:6b) I have confidence in my Heavenly Father and I know that He is always ready to listen.
I will always pray and not give up... because God HEARS my PRAYERS!
