San Jose West Central School Sets Sail on The Virtue Voyage: PUSO-BIDA Fridays!
San Jose West Central School proudly launched The Virtue Voyage Program: PUSO-BIDA Fridays on March 14, 2025, marking a new chapter in fostering values and character formation among students.
The event began with a vibrant Virtue Parade, where students proudly showcased their commitment to positive values. The Signing of the Commitment Pledge served as the centerpiece of the celebration, symbolizing a collective promise to uphold discipline and strong moral values. Leading this significant moment were distinguished guests, including Dr. Lordennis T. Leonardo, Education Program Supervisor in EsP/GMRC; Dr. Joel G. Pontela, School Principal IV; Sir Eduardo Molina, Head Teacher III; Mr. Augustus Cesar F. Tantiongco, Barangay Chairman; Sir Fernando Pascua, SJWCS Faculty President; Ma'am Virginia Martin and Ma'am Annielyn T. Tantiongco, Master Teachers I; Ma'am Rina M. Santos, EsP/GMRC School Coordinator; and Rin Adlyn Ramos, SELG President. Their united pledge underscored their dedication to shaping students into Batang Iniidolo sa Disiplina at Asal (BIDA).
Adding to the excitement, the PUSO-BIDA Fridays jingle was officially launched. Composed and written by Ma'am Rachel G. Mariano and transposed by Sir Lodencio Carreon, the jingle was beautifully performed by Vhea Fernandez and Mikhaila Alliyah Casiño, filling the air with inspiration and unity. Additionally, SNED student Matthew Diaz delivered a heartfelt intermission song, adding to the event's uplifting atmosphere.
The program continued with an engaging storytelling session by Ma'am Rizalina B. Pranilla, captivating students with meaningful lessons. This was followed by a series of song and dance performances, including an energizing number from Sir Lodi’s Band and spirited presentations from selected students of San Jose West Central School.
Interactive activities were also conducted after the program, allowing students to engage and express themselves. "BIDA Says", a fun and engaging activity, encouraged participation and reflection on positive values. The "Pader ng Inspirasyon" (Freedom Wall) provided a space for students to write inspiring messages and personal commitments to embody the virtues of PUSO-BIDA. Meanwhile, the "Ako ang BIDA!" Photo Standee became a favorite spot for students and guests to capture memorable moments, proudly declaring their role as Batang Iniidolo sa Disiplina at Asal (BIDA).
With hearts full of enthusiasm and a renewed sense of purpose, the launch of PUSO-BIDA Fridays set the stage for a culture of discipline, values, and excellence. Together, we embark on this journey of character-building, shaping the next generation of young Filipinos with PUSO-BIDA Fridays—Pagpapahalaga sa Ugnayan sa pamamagitan ng Salaysay at Obra kasama ang Batang Iniidolo sa Disiplina at Asal!
