π± FROM SEEDLINGS TO SUCCESS! π±
After the postponement, the District Evaluation for the Enhanced Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (EGPP) was finally completed today, September 3, 2026! π
This year was far from easy. The continuous rains tested our determination and caused damage to some of our crops. Yet, despite the challenges, the Sta. Cruz Elementary School family continued to nurture our garden with commitment, teamwork, perseverance, and heart. πΏ
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our SPTA Officers headed by Marilyn Lambanicio, SGC Chairperson Kgwd. Marites Sigua and parents from Kindergarten to Grade 6 who worked hand in hand in planting, nurturing, and caring for our school garden. Your time, effort, and dedication truly made a difference. π€π±
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the Barangay Council of Iba, headed by Punong Barangay Joselito G. Capitulo, for the unwavering support extended to the EGPP of Sta. Cruz Elementary School. The following Barangay Kagawad are also appreciated for their utmost support to this program: Kgwd. Ronnie Ramos, Kgwd. Danilo Capiendo, Kgwd. Robert Osorio and Kgwd. Sigua.
Our deepest appreciation also goes to the LGU San Jose, led by Mayor Romeo G. Capitulo, through the Municipal Agrarian Office, for providing the seedlings that helped bring our school garden to life. π±
And today, we proudly celebrate:

But beyond the ranking, there is something even more meaningful that we take home from this evaluation.
Our evaluators recognized the significant improvement in our school garden. And for us, that alone is already a victory. π
We may not have achieved the highest rank, but we have shown something far greaterβthe power of BAYANIHAN. We planted together. We nurtured together. We faced the challenges together. And when the rains tested us, we chose to keep going together. πΏπ€
Some of our plants may have been damaged by the rains, but our determination never withered.
Congratulations and appreciation to the entire SCES family, the TEACHERS especially our EGPP Coordinator, Mdm. Jovylyn S. Tubay, and our School Head, Dr. Liza C. Gonzales, for leading the program with dedication, resilience, and heart. ππ±
Success is sweeter when it is earned through hard work, perseverance, and the courage to compete the right wayβwith integrity, fairness, and dignity.
And perhaps, this is our sweetest harvest of all:
Not the highest rank, but the undeniable proof that when a community comes together, great things can grow. π±π
