Please ensure the following actions are carried out:
1. Prioritize Psychosocial Support and Well-being Activities
ο Advise teachers to begin learning engagements with activities that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and a sense of connectedness among learners.
ο Encourage the conduct of age-appropriate psychosocial support activities that help learners process experiences, reduce anxiety, and maintain positive mental health.
ο Emphasize the importance of creating a supportive and caring learning environment during this period.
2. Conduct Learner Wellness and Safety Check-ins
ο Require teachers to regularly check on the physical, emotional, and mental condition of learners before focusing on academic requirements.
ο Maintain communication with learners and document significant concerns that may affect their participation and well-being.
3. Utilize Learning Packets and Other Available Learning Resources
ο Ensure the distribution and utilization of learning packets and other available self-learning resources appropriate to the current learning continuity arrangement.
ο Guide teachers in providing clear instructions and manageable learning tasks that consider the existing circumstances of learners and their families.
ο Monitor the accessibility and availability of learning materials to ensure no learner is left behind.
4. Strengthen Coordination with Parents and Guardians
ο Instruct teachers to maintain active communication with parents and guardians regarding learner participation, safety, and overall condition.
ο Encourage parents and guardians to monitor learners' well-being and learning progress at home.
ο Facilitate prompt reporting of any learner concerns, difficulties, or urgent needs that may require school intervention.
5. Monitor and Provide Support to Teachers
ο Continuously monitor the implementation of HINGA-level learning continuity measures in your respective schools.
ο Provide technical assistance, guidance, and necessary support to teachers in addressing learner needs and ensuring effective delivery of learning activities.
Let us ensure that during the implementation of the HINGA Level, the safety, psychosocial well-being, and welfare of our learners remain our foremost priority while sustaining meaningful learning opportunities for all.
Thank you. Keep safe, everyone!
