Abar 1st Elementary School held its BSP and GSP Investiture Ceremony, where the scouts promised their loyalty and were joined by their ninongs and ninangs who pledged to guide and support them in practicing the true spirit of scouting.

Scouts from BSP and GSP proudly showcased their creativity and love for nature in the Mr. and Ms. Nature’s BSP and GSP, wearing eco-friendly costumes made from leaves, twigs, and other natural materials.

HAPPENING NOW| Abar 1st Elementary School
Abar 1st Elementary School is filled with excitement today as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts kick off their joint backyard camping activity, scheduled for October 24–25.
The two-day event brings together young scouts from various grade levels to engage in team-building exercises, survival skills training, and values formation activities.

HAPPENING NOW | Abar 1st Elementary School
In a meaningful effort to support young learners, the Division Office of San Jose City, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU), spearheaded the distribution of ARAL Learning Kits to selected tutees of Abar 1st Elementary School under the Department of Education’s ARAL Program.
The event was led by OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Josie C. Palioc, together with the Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division and several Education Program Supervisors, reaffirming the division’s commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind in education.

School-based Celebration of Nutrition Month was held at Abar 1st Elementary School, featuring a unique cooking contest participated in by students and their parents.
The contest aimed to promote proper nutrition through healthy meals that can be prepared at home.
Aside from showcasing cooking skills, it also served as a way to strengthen the bond between students, parents, and the school.

To help students become better writers and learners, Abar 1st Elementary School launched Project WRITE to train young campus journalists in writing, photojournalism, cartooning, and mobile journalism, while also taking part in the Project ARAL Summit by DepEd San Jose City, where teachers and school leaders shared ideas to improve students’ skills in reading, Math, and Science.

Sa pagsisikap na mapanatiling malusog at handang mag-aral ang mga bata, inilunsad ng Schools Division Office ng San Jose City katuwang ang CHO at lokal na pamahalaan ang ‘Division Deworming Kick-Off 2025’ ngayong Hulyo 22 sa Abar 1st Elementary School bilang bahagi ng National School Deworming Month.
