In Photos | Pre-Oral Defense
Last April 11, the School of Education, led by Dean Marylyn S. Anatalio, successfully conducted a pre-oral defense for the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) program. Present were our inspiring academic faculty, Program Chair of Early Childhood Education, Ms. Maria Rosario S. Mactal, Dr. Domingo Pauig, and Dr. Welmer Serrano.
Next in line is the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) program, scheduled on May 2โ3. The panel will include Dean of School of Education (SED) and Director of General Education, Ms. Marylyn S. Anatalio, Research Adviser of BECED, Dr. Ronald Allan Casido, Dr. Domingo Pauig, and Dr. Welmer Serrano, all dedicated to sharing their expertise in this field.
Beyond being part of the curriculum, activities like these ensure that City Collegians not only meet academic requirements but also showcase their mastery of research. This process helps strengthen the confidence, sharpens critical thinking, and prepares CCSJDM's students for future academic and professional endeavors.

IN PHOTOS: CCSJDM Faculty Participates in Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program Regional Training of Trainers
The Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) successfully holding its Regional Training of Trainers from March 16 to 19, 2026, at the Mansion Garden Hotel, Subic Zambales. The training aimed to strengthen the implementation of the program by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of selected participants who will serve as trainers in their respective areas.
The activity brought together educators and youth development advocates for a series of structured capacity-building sessions designed to support both Tutors and Youth Development Workers (YDWs). Through collaborative learning and engagement, participants were equipped with strategies and approaches to effectively deliver the program in their respective communities.
Representing the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) were Ms.Maria Rosario Mactal, BECED Program Coordinator, and Ms. Ann Jenalyn P. Bondad from the Bachelor of Science in Social Work program. Their participation highlights CCSJDMโs continued commitment to community engagement and educational support initiatives that promote literacy and youth development.
Through active involvement in programs such as TBTP, CCSJDM strengthens its role in nation-building by empowering educators and fostering meaningful learning opportunities for Filipino learners.

The City College of San Jose del Monte informs all students that the new class schedule will take effect on March 16, 2026, in compliance with the relevant memorandum issued by the national government and the Office of the City Administrator.
Under this implementation, onsite (face-to-face) classes will be conducted from Monday to Thursday, while online synchronous classes will be held from Friday to Sunday.
All students are advised to be properly guided by this schedule and to coordinate with their respective Deans and Program Chairs for any questions, clarifications, or concerns.

Faculty members and students from the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) actively participated in the PAFTE III General Assembly of Pre-Service Teachers held today, March 6, 2026, at the Kalinangan Auditorium. The assembly carried the theme โThe AI-Augmented Educator: Bridging Innovation and Integrity in the Philippine Classroom.โ
Representing the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) were Ms. Marylyn Anatalio, Dean of the School of Education, and Ms. Maria Rosario Mactal, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education program. They were joined by CCSJDM students Cegie Ortazo and Ini Christ Deliton, representing the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) programs.
The assembly aimed to empower pre-service teachers with the technical proficiency to utilize generative artificial intelligence in developing high-quality instructional designs, while also fostering a strong ethical foundation for the responsible and appropriate use of AI in the academic community. Through this initiative, future educators are encouraged to embrace innovation while upholding integrity in teaching and learning practices.
