โFacing the Challengesโ
Behind every smiles and laughter inside the classroom, some students are adjusting, struggling, wondering if theyโre doing their best. Despite the stress, they still show up, hoping the next day will be less exhausting.
โDifferent Journeys, One Goalโ
โKaya ko pa ba โto?โ The typical line when youโre trying to keep up with deadlines, classes and expectations. For new students, this school year feels like stepping into a new territory. New routines, new faces, new knowledge. For returning students, it is another chapter of learning, new experiences, but somehow both of them share one thing: working hard.
I asked some students what keeps them motivated during stressful academic days. Two students shared that their friends, families, and tropa help them push through. Having people around who listen, make them laugh, or simply stay by their side can make stressful days feel a little less heavier.
For another student, the answer was a little more unexpected. His motivation is a student from another grade, who also happens to be his crush. While it may sound simple, sometimes even one person can give someone a reason to look forward to another day at school.
Everyone has their own way of dealing with academic stress. Some find motivation in their families, while others find it in their friends or even in someone who makes their day a little brighter.
Behind every student who walks into the classroom is a different story. We may have different struggles and different reasons for continuing, but at the end of the day, we all have somethingโor someoneโthat reminds us to keep moving forward.
โThe Next Chapterโ
As the first term comes to an end, there is still so much ahead for every student. The exams may be another challenge to face, but they are also another opportunity to learn and see how much we have grown.
Whether you are new to STI or have been here for years, remember that you do not have to have everything figured out.
