Today, the Project Amuma, together with the Purok President, undertook a home visitation at Purok Perlas Sitio Wason, Batobato, San Isidro, Davao Oriental. This activity is an integral component of the DOrSU-SIC Project Amuma, under the SHINE WASON Extension Program. The primary objective of this activity was to support hypertensive and diabetic patients who are beneficiaries of the program, thereby addressing their health needs with a focused and compassionate approach.

Throughout the home visits, the team prioritized establishing connections with bedridden patients, providing essential emotional and medical support tailored to their specific circumstances. This engagement not only addresses their physical health requirements but also works to alleviate feelings of isolation, fostering a sense of community and belonging among the beneficiaries.

In addition to providing emotional support, the team ensured that patients received their maintenance medications during the visit, reaffirming our commitment to their health and well-being. This initiative exemplifies our dedication to sustainable community extension, demonstrating that proactive health measures can significantly enhance the quality of life for individuals in need. The successful completion of today's home visit highlights the collaborative efforts of the Project Amuma and local leadership in effecting positive change within the community.
