Through this initiative, the BAPOS department was enjoined with a purposeโ to remind the importance of environmental stewardship and encourage active public particapation in environmental protection and preservation. The BAPOS department's enthusiastic involvement in finding solutions to current issues demonstrates the effectiveness of the students' and leaders' active awareness and initiatives for a variety of goals.
Climate change isn't just about melting ice; it's about the food on our table, the safety of our homes, and the future of our children. Rising sea levels threaten our coastlines, unbearable heat scorches our fields, and stronger typhoons tear through our communities. Every small action we take today, together, can build a more resilient tomorrow for all of us.

โOctober 13, 2025 - To support the initiative of the Provincial Student Body Organization (PSBO) of the College of Arts and Sciences, the BAPOS 2A students participated in a cleanup effort starting at the CAS grounds, joining the movement to promote a greener campus environment.
โThe PSBO's "MLUCasang Kilos - Pulot sa Campus" initiative is a two-day effort that mobilizes students to reignite community environmental efforts and foster long-term initiatives for the restoration and preservation of nature.
โClass Captain Divine Grace Adovas and her class officers, alongside student leaders including PSBO Vice Governor Aldred Jacob Mancilla, PSBO Secretary Jon Paul Vincent Estacio, and Political Science MSBO Mayor Jan Russel Galope and other MSBO officers, spearheaded the effort. The BAPOS 2A students joined as one of the first groups to take on the initiative, demonstrating that BAPOS students are dedicated not just in leadership and analytical thinking, but also in civic participation and engagement.
โThe initiative will continue today, October 14, across the campus. Further information is available on the official Facebook account of the CAS Provincial Student Body Organization.
