The SDO - City of San Fernando has been participating in the Dokyupagpapahalaga Contest on a Regional Level on a monthly basis. The activity is for junior high and senior high school. In both the junior high and senior high school divisions, the Dokyupagpapahalaga video entries have taken home awards. From January through June.

SDO - City of San Fernando actively participated the 4 - Day Quality Assured Modules / Activity Sheets on different Learning Areas by the following Education Program Supervisors namely : Maria Rhea Reyes (GMRC) , Michael Ramirez (AP) Thea Zonette Medrano (EPP/TLE) and Marie Camille Hufana (MAPEH) and Raymond Marzan, Education Program Specialist in – charge of the Alternative Learning System(ALS).
The said training was held at National Educators' Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) Region I at Barangay San Vincente, San Fernando City, La Union last August 26 - 29, 2025. The said training aims to ensure the alignment with the curriculum standards and to guarantee that the different learning areas are consistent with the K-10 Curriculum Learning Competencies and Standards.
