The Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations (COCOPEA), Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ACSCU), Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU), Philippine Association of Private Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAPSCU), Unified TVET of the Philippines (UniTVET), Federation of Associations of Private School Administrators (FAPSA), and National Alliance of Private Schools Philippines (NAPSPHIL) collectively released a statement on the Senate’s approval of DepEd’s 2026 budget, the largest in the country’s history and a landmark investment in the future of Filipino learners.

The group also urged the passage of key education reforms such as the Complementarity Bill and the K to 12 Voucher Bill, the full operationalization of the Basic Education Complementarity Framework (DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2024), and the protection of the integrity of subsidy programs, namely, the Education Service Contracting (ESC) and the SHS Voucher Program.

These reforms and policy initiatives are essential to improving system efficiency, strengthening learner outcomes, and expanding inclusive access to quality education
