Guided by the theme “𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲,” the awarding ceremony honored not only achievements, but also the hard work, commitment, growth, and contributions continuously embodied by psychmates in various aspects of student life and service.

Held last 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the 𝗨𝗔 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, the event stood as a celebration of the collective efforts that strengthened and inspired the Psychology community throughout the year.

The event carried the theme, “𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮: 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨."

For the whole day, the third- and fourth-year students attended their respective workshops, with the morning session running from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The event carried the theme, “𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮: 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨."

The morning program commenced at 10:00 AM with the opening remarks delivered by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐃. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, Chair of PAPJA 2026. This was followed by the welcoming remarks of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚, Chair of the De La Salle University Psychology Department. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐑. 𝐊𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐤𝐨, President of the Psychological Association of the Philippines, then delivered his message and introduced the keynote speaker. The session concluded with the keynote address by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐨𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚.

For the afternoon program, the PAPJA 2026 Interschool Psychology Quiz Competition was held first, followed by TranscenDANCE. This was succeeded by the awarding ceremony, which recognized winners in several categories, including Best Undergraduate Thesis, Songwriting Competition, Psyclips, Interschool Psychology Quiz Bee, and TranscenDANCE. The event concluded with the closing ceremonies.

The UA Psychology Society proudly attended the 11th Regional Convention held at Holy Angel University last April 17, 2026. Anchored on this year’s theme, “𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔: 𝗦𝗶𝗸𝗹𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘆𝗮𝗽 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻,”and in collaboration with the Holy Angel University Psychology Society, the event united psychology students from across the region in a dynamic celebration of identity, culture, and the evolving landscape of Filipino psychology.

The convention came alive through a diverse lineup of events—Lualu, Pasaning Lahi, Magayon at Panganoron, Pamagbayu, Dalubhasa, and Hataw—each reflecting both intellectual rigor and cultural depth, from mythological expression and critical discourse to innovation, performance, and academic excellence.

In line with this vision, students from the University of the Assumption took the stage in the Quiz Bee and Dance Competition, demonstrating not only their knowledge and skill but also their passion for Sikolohiyang Pilipino.

A day defined by purpose, expression, and a deeper connection to our roots 🔱🇵🇭
