GIST PAMPANGA'S JOHN LEO CANABE ACES PUPCET 2024, MAKES ALMA MATER PROUD

GIST Pampanga’s Class of 2024 front bencher has once again brought pride to his beloved Alma Mater by excelling in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines College Entrance Test (PUPCET) 2024.

Mr. John Leo M. Canabe, a distinguished member of the pioneering Humanities and Social Sciences class at GIST San Fernando Pampanga Campus, has proven his academic excellence by passing the rigorous PUPCET exam. As a recipient of the "With Highest Honors" accolade, John Leo is set to pursue a pre-law course, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, at PUP Sta. Mesa, driven by his aspiration to become a lawyer and a voice for society. He passionately expresses his commitment to advocacy with the words: "They can turn off your mic but never let them silence you. MULA SA BAYAN, PARA SA BAYAN."

John Leo’s dream of enrolling in PUP Sta. Mesa stems from the university's reputation as one of the Philippines' top institutions for nurturing young minds to excel in their fields. Overwhelmed with joy upon receiving the news of his acceptance, he shared, "PUPCET is actually THE dream. Nung nakita ko yung result, I literally sobbed. Sobrang saya."
