23 August 2026 – Marking the 4th Week of the NSTP Common Module, the training session was conducted for all 1st-year students; The program featured a vital lecture on Hazard, Risk, and Disaster Preparedness, expertly delivered by Sir Chris Palomado of the MDRRMO; He shared essential knowledge on identifying hazards, assessing risks, and proper measures to stay safe and resilient during emergencies and disasters
The session continued with practical instruction on First Aid and Basic Life Support, led by LGU Responder Sir Justin Arabejo. Trainees learned fundamental; life-saving skills, proper response techniques, and how to act calmly and effectively during critical situations
All participants listened attentively, engaged actively, and gained valuable knowledge to protect themselves and others. The training proceeded in an orderly, productive manner and was successfully concluded thereafter
