‎ 23 August 2026 – Marking the 4th Week of the NSTP Common Module, the training session was conducted for all 1st-year students; The program featured a vital lecture on Hazard, Risk, and Disaster Preparedness, expertly delivered by Sir Chris Palomado of the MDRRMO; He shared essential knowledge on identifying hazards, assessing risks, and proper measures to stay safe and resilient during emergencies and disasters

‎The session continued with practical instruction on First Aid and Basic Life Support, led by LGU Responder Sir Justin Arabejo. Trainees learned fundamental; life-saving skills, proper response techniques, and how to act calmly and effectively during critical situations
‎
‎All participants listened attentively, engaged actively, and gained valuable knowledge to protect themselves and others. The training proceeded in an orderly, productive manner and was successfully concluded thereafter

0730H August 16, 2026 – The ISUFST-SEC ROTC Unit conducted the 3rd Common Module of the National Service Training Program (NSTP), with the session focusing on Drug Prevention Education. The lecture was graciously delivered by the Chief of Police of San Enrique, Iloilo, who provided essential insights on substance abuse hazards, legal responsibilities, and the youth’s vital role in promoting a drug-free community

In the afternoon, all ROTC applicants were required to report at 1300H to perform a clean-up drive at the ROTC Headquarters. The applicants carried out the task diligently and in good order, demonstrating discipline, cooperation, and care for their unit’s facilities

The entire activity was conducted smoothly with active participation and successfully concluded thereafter

10 August 2026 – Marking the 3rd Week of activities, the ISUFST-SEC ROTC Unit conducted the solemn Weekly Flag Raising Ceremony, proudly led by Corps Commander CDT COL Junard Alipala 1CL

Immediately following the rites, the program proceeded with the Opening Ceremony of the ASEAN Celebration 2026. Highlights of the upcoming observance scheduled for August 27 were officially announced to all cadets and attendees, outlining meaningful activities that foster regional awareness, unity, and cooperation

The officers performed the ceremony with precision, dignity, and shared purpose. The entire activity was carried out in good order, filled with patriotic spirit, and successfully concluded thereafter

09 August 2026 – Marking the 2nd Week of the NSTP Common Module, the training was conducted for all 1st-year students, with the session expertly lectured by Sir Russell Yamit

The lecture centered deeply on the core themes of Citizenship and Nationalism: explaining the rights, duties, and responsibilities of every Filipino citizen, and emphasizing genuine love for country, national identity, and active participation in nation-building. It aimed to instill in every trainee a strong sense of civic duty, loyalty, and commitment to uphold the nation’s values and welfare.

The trainees listened attentively, engaged in the discussion, and gained clearer understanding of how citizenship and nationalism serve as the foundation of national unity and service. The session proceeded in an orderly and productive manner, and was successfully concluded thereafter
