In line with the commitment of the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗱) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆–𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 to 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, preparations are underway for the 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜-𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, with the program title “𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” and the theme “𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆-𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.”

As part of the preparations, the BEEd Department held a coordination meeting on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, presided over by 𝑴𝒎𝒆. 𝑳𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒔 𝑨. 𝑫𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂, Chairperson of the BEEd Department. The meeting focused on the program flow, committee assignments, technical preparations, documentation, and other arrangements for the upcoming 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 scheduled on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The series aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in Artificial Intelligence, digital technologies, and technology-enhanced learning in elementary education, guided by the 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱–𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲–𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.

‎Preparation is an important key to success. As future educators, we continuously revisit our lessons, strengthen our understanding, and seek experiences that prepare us for the responsibilities ahead.

‎As part of 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐 of “𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐭 𝐎𝐧! 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬,” the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 participated in a 𝐂𝐁𝐄 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 featuring“𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖: 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙩𝙪𝙠𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙖 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙠𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖, 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩, 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤.” Through LEPT-style questions, the students experienced a glimpse of the licensure examination while developing their 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴.

‎Our CBE Lecturer, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗠. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁, a 𝑷𝑺𝑼–𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒏𝒂, 𝑩𝑬𝑬𝒅 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓, shared her LEPT experiences, including questions she encountered and valuable tips for preparation. 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐕

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) program of Pangasinan State University - San Carlos City Campus underwent its first local onsite accreditation for AACCUP Level IV on September 21, 2026, at the Campus Learning Resource Center.

The Technical Working Group (TWG) for BEEd, headed by Ms. Lenibabes A. Doria, Chairperson, and Dr. Shirley L. Milanes, Dean of the College of Teacher Education (CTE), led the program preparations with the department's core and allied faculty members. The team presented the program’s documentary evidence for review by the local accreditors.

Serving as local accreditors was Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, Vice President for Quality Assurance, who shared that PSU is known for its quality assurance mechanisms and the systems it maintains to support the quality of its academic programs.

Joining the onsite review was Dr. Liza L. Campus, a former BEEd faculty member and former Campus Executive Director of PSU San Carlos, who now serves as Campus Executive Director of PSU Alaminos City Campus. She also provided feedback on the documentary evidence and areas reviewed during the onsite activity.

Dr. Gudelia M. Samson, Campus Executive Director of PSU San Carlos, welcomed the local accreditors and expressed the campus’s support for the review. She also affirmed the campus’s willingness to subject the BEEd program to scrutiny as it works to improve its documentary evidence and prepare for the Level IV requirements.

The Quality Assurance Office facilitated the activity through Dr. And Julie D. Rosal, OIC-Office of the Quality Assurance Coordinator, together with Ms. Unica Jean DC. Caoile and Ms. Queenie B. Naraja.

Following the document review, feedback was cascaded to the BEEd team to guide the succeeding preparations. The local onsite accreditation will continue on October 1, 2026, with the BEEd program expected to reach 100 percent completion of the required documentary evidence.

The 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐝) continues its 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 through new meaningful learning session under “𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐭 𝐎𝐧! 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬.” This time, we turn our attention to the richness of the Filipino language and literature as we explore: “𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚: 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐮𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚, 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭, 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨”.

Meet Mr. Peter M. Cubos, Jr., a Teacher III at Tampog Elementary School and a proud Bachelor of Elementary Education alumnus of Pangasinan State University – San Carlos City Campus, Batch 2018. Through the BEEd program, Mr. Cubos gained the knowledge, skills, and values that became the foundation of a meaningful career in education.

Like many aspiring educators, Mr. Cubos faced moments of uncertainty, competition, and self-doubt. Yet, instead of allowing these experiences to hold them back, they became opportunities to develop resilience, patience, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement. With every challenge came greater confidence, determination, and a deeper appreciation for the teaching profession.

Today, Mr. Cubos continues to carry the belief that teaching is more than a career—it is a calling and an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. Their journey reminds us that behind every lesson is an educator who chooses to inspire, guide, and believe in their learners. Indeed, never underestimate the value of a teacher. 🐝💙💛
