"Let me share with you about our values for the week, which is compassion. It’s not just 'being nice.' Compassion is noticing when someone’s having a hard day and choosing to care anyway. It’s offering your seat, listening without interrupting, or including someone who’s standing alone.

Grades will fade and tests will end, but how you treat people stays with them. The world doesn’t need more people who are just smart. It needs more people who are kind. So today, let’s make compassion our assignment. Look around. Find one moment to show up for someone else. That’s how we build a school — and a future — worth being proud of."

Mrs. Agdan also left us with her beautiful daily mantra to guide our actions:

San Pascual Senior High School 1 warmly welcomed Sir Avelino B. Mortel, Public School District Supervisor, for a crucial monitoring visit on June 9, 2026. This visit officially signaled the vibrant start of School Year 2026-2027!

Guided by Principal II Mrs. Marcela A. Agdan, Sir Mortel observed classroom interactions and commended the school's thorough preparedness. The visit focused on validating our readiness and evaluating our Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) anchored on the four educational pillars: Access, Equity, Quality, and Resilience.

A highlight of the monitoring was seeing our parents actively engaged in the Class Orientation facilitated by class advisers, reinforcing the powerful school-home partnership essential for a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered educational environment.

In a dialogue with our teaching personnel, Sir Mortel inspired everyone to maintain dedication and collaboration, underscoring that evidence-based assessments are key to sustaining a culture of excellence and ensuring every learner is given the opportunity to succeed.
