Romblon State University (RSU) is now 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐀𝐏), as approved through 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨. 𝐑𝟎𝟑𝟐-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔).

Through RSU ETEEAP, qualified individuals may now pursue and earn their degrees in the following programs:

• Bachelor of Public Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Operations Management
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Financial Management
• Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management

This milestone opens new pathways for working professionals and experienced individuals to complete their degrees through the recognition of prior learning, work experience, and competencies—making higher education more flexible, inclusive, and accessible.

Separate Government Authorities for each program will be issued by the Commission soon.

𝟬𝟴.𝟭𝟭.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 || 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Last August 11, 2025, the College of Public Affairs and Governance of RSU–San Agustin Campus successfully conducted the Freshmen Orientation for Academic Year 2025–2026.

Dr. Poly D. Banagan, Campus Director, warmly welcomed the freshmen, faculty, staff, and guests who took part in the event, expressing his optimism for the students’ academic journey. He emphasized the importance of unity and shared commitment between the students, faculty, and the entire campus community in achieving success, encouraging everyone to make the most of the opportunities and support available at RSU–San Agustin Campus.

The three Program Chairpersons discussed their respective program retention policies:
• Ms. Shenai F. Juance – Bachelor of Science in Criminology
• Mr. Vincent Jay H. Gado – Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology
• Dr. Augusto D. Tayco Jr. (OIC) – Bachelor of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Political Science.

They also emphasized the importance of carefully choosing and committing to their chosen academic program.

Administrative offices presented essential guidelines and procedures for various campus transactions:
• Mr. Jhon Gelbert D. Mores – Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and Office of the Campus Director
• Ms. Edissa M. Simbre – Admission and Cashiering Unit
• Mrs. Gina Magura – Registrar’s Office
• Mrs. Christine L. Rada – Health Services Unit
• Mr. Gil Francisco – Guidance Office
• Mrs. Maria Jonalyn R. Gan – Student Development Services Office and Library
• Mr. Rudhen M. Masunca – Sports Office
• Mrs. Mary Ann M. Aragon – Gender and Development
• Dr. Augusto D. Tayco Jr. – Security and ROTC Unit

The Supreme Student Council President, Ms. Christine Mendez, also introduced the council’s role and services for the student body.

Distinguished guests graced the event, including Hon. Aaron James Stephen C. Madrona, Municipal Mayor of San Agustin, who delivered an inspiring message, and Mr. Joselito L. Sape, Chief of Police, who shared words of encouragement. The Land Transportation Office, represented by Mr. Amenodin B. Mitmug, also attended, highlighting important road safety and driving regulations.

The orientation concluded with an engaging open forum and closing remarks, leaving the freshmen well-informed, motivated, and ready to embark on their academic journey.
