Last August 11, 2025, the College of Public Affairs and Governance of RSUโSan Agustin Campus successfully conducted the Freshmen Orientation for Academic Year 2025โ2026.
Dr. Poly D. Banagan, Campus Director, warmly welcomed the freshmen, faculty, staff, and guests who took part in the event, expressing his optimism for the studentsโ academic journey. He emphasized the importance of unity and shared commitment between the students, faculty, and the entire campus community in achieving success, encouraging everyone to make the most of the opportunities and support available at RSUโSan Agustin Campus.
The three Program Chairpersons discussed their respective program retention policies:
โข Ms. Shenai F. Juance โ Bachelor of Science in Criminology
โข Mr. Vincent Jay H. Gado โ Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology
โข Dr. Augusto D. Tayco Jr. (OIC) โ Bachelor of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
They also emphasized the importance of carefully choosing and committing to their chosen academic program.
Administrative offices presented essential guidelines and procedures for various campus transactions:

The Supreme Student Council President, Ms. Christine Mendez, also introduced the councilโs role and services for the student body.
Distinguished guests graced the event, including Hon. Aaron James Stephen C. Madrona, Municipal Mayor of San Agustin, who delivered an inspiring message, and Mr. Joselito L. Sape, Chief of Police, who shared words of encouragement. The Land Transportation Office, represented by Mr. Amenodin B. Mitmug, also attended, highlighting important road safety and driving regulations.
The orientation concluded with an engaging open forum and closing remarks, leaving the freshmen well-informed, motivated, and ready to embark on their academic journey.
