WHAT IS OPEN DATA DAY?
Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. For the ninth time in history, groups from around the world will create local events on the day where they will use open data in their communities. It is an opportunity to show the benefits of open data and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society.
All outputs are open for everyone to use and re-use.
There are many kinds of activities such as talks/seminars and workshops that focuses on open data. And these includes:
Data For Equal Development:
-Data for Equal Development are data that is free for use for development of software, applications or such.
Open Mapping:
-Open Mapping are data that is free for use for mapping applications. Mainly this is use for a particular place that involves areas of choices.
Tracking Public Money Flow:
-Tracking Public Money Flow are data mainly for applications that smeared for Block Chains. Money flow tracking are for businesses’ analysis for sales management.
