SPEAKERS' BIONOTES

Justine Claire Ello is a 4th-year Creative Writing Student from the University of Santo Tomas. She was a former Content Writing Intern for the Cultural Center of the Philippines and a Fellow of the 2nd Pasig Writers’ Workshop for her Sapphic One-Act Play entitled ‘Grotto.’ Her undergraduate thesis ‘Ang Mga Kumpisal ng Barangay Sumila’ highlights the experiences of women under the patriarchy and features her Sapphic play entitled ‘Sa Bukang Liwayway.’ Outside of writing, she enjoys listening to Phoebe Bridgers and dancing with her organization at different auditoriums around UST.

Cody Fuentes is a bisexual writer and Creative Writing senior at the University of Santo Tomas. She was an intern at INQUIRER. NET, where she wrote articles on video games, music, and human interest. Her undergraduate thesis, Virgin Rizz: Personal Narratives of a Bisexual Youth, brings lighthearted q***r stories to Filipino nonfiction. When she isn't writing, she's either jamming with her bandmates or procrastinating.

Jashley Laconico is a 4th-year AB Creative Writing student. They write sapphic narratives, and their undergraduate thesis, Lilies in the Garden: Le***an Short Stories, is about the Filipino butch-femme experiences.
