𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗕𝗘𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗘 🎒🌊💛

Reaching Molocaboc 2 Elementary School made this distribution even more meaningful. The journey to this beautiful island school was not easy—and the low tide even welcomed us with a walk along the shore before we could reach the school. But every step was worth it. We were very happy to be there, welcomed by School Head Sharon Gometon together with the School Governance Council, the learners, teachers, and a beautiful community that continues to stand together for its children.

The joy of our learners as they received their bags with school supplies, tumblers, and raincoats made the journey even more meaningful. Seeing their excitement and smiles reminded us that no distance, difficult road, or even low tide should keep us from reaching our learners.

Their community lives by the mantra, “Buylo, Molo! Rise and Shine.” And indeed, we came not only to bring bags, but to bring a simple message: as you rise and shine as one community, know that you are not alone. There are people and partners who believe in you and are willing to journey with you.

𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘, 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗚 𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 🎒💛

The smiles that greeted us at Pacol Elementary School made every bag we brought even more meaningful. Together with School Head Rosielyn Plaza, we shared with our learners the bags provided by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) filled with school supplies, a tumbler, and a raincoat to accompany them in their everyday journey of learning.

The joy of the learners as they received their new bags was truly inspiring. Even more touching was seeing how respectful, thoughtful, and appreciative they were. Their warm smiles and simple expressions of gratitude made the visit even more meaningful and reminded us that sometimes, the most memorable moments are found in the simplest encounters with our learners.

More than the bags and supplies, I hope our learners felt something greater—that they are remembered, supported, and surrounded by people who believe in their dreams. Sometimes, it is in these simple moments that we are reminded why we do what we do. Every smile inspires us to keep going, to keep reaching our schools, and to keep making a difference—one learner at a time.

What a heartwarming visit to Uychiat Elementary School, warmly welcomed by School Head Julius Juanico. We had the joy of distributing bags from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) through its Gamit ni Bulilit program, each filled with school supplies, a tumbler, and a raincoat for our learners.

One of the sweetest surprises was realizing that the children knew me and even called me by my name. 😊 It was such a simple yet touching moment that made the visit even more special. Their excitement as they received their new bags, their grateful smiles, and the genuine joy on their faces were truly inspiring.

These may be bags filled with things they can use in school, but they also carry something more—encouragement, care, and the message that our learners are remembered and that many people believe in their dreams.

Our heartfelt gratitude to NGCP for making these bags possible and for bringing not only school essentials, but also smiles and inspiration to our learners.

🏫 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦, 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗬’𝗦 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘

A new chapter begins for Sagay National High School with the groundbreaking of its three storey, 18 classroom school building.

Deepest gratitude to the Okada Foundation and Congressman Alfredo “Thirdy” Marañon III, together with Mayor Bebo Cueva, Vice Mayor Narwin Javelosa Jr., and the City Government of Sagay, for investing in the future of Sagaynon learners.

These are more than physical classrooms. Every classroom built is a beginning of hope for Sagay—a home where learners can pursue their dreams and aspirations, and where teachers can inspire, guide, and make learning meaningful.

This building is not only for Sagay National High School. It will become part of the continuing story of Sagay City, a testament to a community that believes in the power of education.

Today, we break ground. We build classrooms. We build hope. We shape the future of Sagay. 💛💜

Rep. Alfredo “Thirdy” D. Marañon III said the project resulted from discussions with Okada Foundation Inc., whose president personally visited Sagay and inspected the proposed site around two years ago before deciding to support the construction of the building.
