FUTURE DESIGNERS & BUILDERS ARE EXPERIENCING WHAT’S NEXT

The graduating batch of the John Paul College – Architecture Department gathered at The CRIB HUB for a thesis class designed to move learning beyond the conventional classroom.

This is more than an ordinary class session. It is an intensive, masterclass-level learning experience where future designers and builders are challenged to explore new methods, question familiar approaches and develop new ways of thinking.

Through research, critical discussions, digital tools, collaboration and exposure to real-world contexts, they are discovering that architecture is not only about designing buildings. It is about understanding systems, responding to communities and transforming ideas into meaningful solutions.

Their experience at The CRIB HUB also gives them an early glimpse of what The HIVE Creative Hub could offer.

The HIVE Creative Hub is envisioned as one of the components within the larger CRIB HUB ecosystem—a dedicated shared space for creativity, technology, design, prototyping and innovation.

If realized this year, HIVE could expand this kind of learning by giving more students, educators, professionals and emerging creatives access to advanced tools, shared capabilities and collaborative opportunities.

These future designers and builders are not simply completing their thesis.

They are learning to think differently, explore boldly and prepare themselves to build what comes next.

BENCHMARKING FOR COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION

Finally, we had the privilege of welcoming Pastor Lalano “Nono” Badoy Jr., Haggai International National Faculty Development Seminar Training Team Leader and International Faculty, to AGRITEKTURA’s THE CRIB HUB.

The benchmarking visit opened meaningful conversations on potential partnerships and sustainable fundraising initiatives that can support community transformation, responsible stewardship, and lasting impact.

More than a facility visit, it was an exchange of ideas, experiences, and a shared commitment to mobilize resources, strengthen leaders, and empower communities.

Occidental Mindoro Fishfarming Association Visits The CRIB Hub

We were honored to welcome the Occidental Mindoro Fishfarming Association, headed by Provincial Fisheries Officer Nicholas Guiua, to The CRIB Hub for an educational visit.

The delegation explored AGRITEKTURA’s smart and sustainable aquaculture innovations, gaining insights into practical technologies and modern fish farming systems. The visit fostered knowledge exchange and strengthened our shared commitment to advancing sustainable aquaculture and empowering fishing communities across MIMAROPA.

Building Stronger Partnerships for Innovation and Community Development

We were honored to welcome Ms. Adelaine C. Alday, Business Counselor of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, together with Councilor David Dela Cruz during their visit to The CRIB.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase AGRITEKTURA’s innovation initiatives in agritecture, aquaculture, and skills development while discussing potential collaborations that promote entrepreneurship, sustainable livelihoods, and community development.

From Pond to Plate: A Food Innovation Collaboration Between AGRITEKTURA’s The CRIB HUB and Primo’s Cocina

Innovation is not only about technology. It is also about creating new value from local resources, empowering communities, and transforming how we think about food.

Today, we are proud to introduce Tilapia Tacos, a food innovation collaboration between AGRITEKTURA’s The CRIB HUB and Primo’s Cocina.

This initiative demonstrates how sustainable aquaculture can extend beyond production and become a platform for culinary innovation, entrepreneurship, agritourism, and local economic development. By utilizing premium farm raised tilapia produced through AGRITEKTURA’s SHIP System Solutions we are exploring new ways to increase the value of locally grown resources while creating unique food experiences for consumers.

This collaboration reflects the shared vision of The CRIB HUB and Primo’s Cocina to champion locally sourced ingredients, celebrate innovation, and create meaningful connections between producers and consumers.

From pond to plate, every taco tells a story of sustainability, creativity, collaboration, and value creation.

We look forward to developing more products, experiences, and partnerships that showcase the potential of Filipino innovation in food and agriculture.

Ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang alaala ng ating nakaraan. Ito ay panawagan para sa pagkilos ngayon. Sa bawat magsasaka, mangingisda, manggagawa, g**o, kabataan, at Pilipinong patuloy na nagsisikap para sa pamilya at bayan Kayo ang buhay na diwa ng kalayaan.

Sa AGRITEKTURA, patuloy nating itatanim ang pag-asa, lilinangin ang inobasyon, at sama-samang bubuo ng isang mas matatag at mas maunlad na Pilipinas. Mahalin ang bayan. Paglingkuran ang kapwa. Ipagpatuloy ang laban para sa kinabukasan.

Visitors from Germany, through the initiative of Willandaise Farm Resort owners, The Tana Family, had the opportunity to experience Circuit @ The CRIB HUB, immersing themselves in Mindoro’s agritourism landscape. Their visit highlighted the fusion of sustainable farming, innovative agritecture, and experiential tourism, showcasing how agriculture and tourism come together to create a unique and enriching experience in the province.

Mindoro State University Agriculture Engineering and Biosystems students embarked on an exciting journey: the Circuit @ AGRITEKTURA Homebase @ The CRIB. This program aims to provide students with a unique field trip experience in the agricultural industry, where they can learn from success stories, best practices, and innovative approaches.

During the Circuit, participants will not only hear inspiring stories and witness technological innovations but will also face challenges that prompt them to reflect on their commitments and understand their identities better. This initiative is in partnership with DOST MIMAROPA, enhancing its reach and impact.
