The Season of Lent

This 40-day penitential season prepares us for the joy of Easter through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Following the example of Christ's 40 days in the desert, we are called to inner conversion and repentance.

*Fasting (Ash Wednesday & Good Friday)
*Abstinence (All Lenten Fridays & Ash Wednesday)

These practices help us unite with Christ's Passion and enter the Paschal Mystery with a renewed heart. Let's walk with Christ, carrying our crosses with Faith.

Youth City 2025—a beautiful blend of faith, joy, and moments we’ll forever cherish! 💛🩷✨

Last December 29–30, 2025, the Capiznon youth came together as one—one Church, one mission, one heart. What began in prayer blossomed into a meaningful journey filled with laughter, music, games, dancing, moments of silence and reflection, and encounters that felt like family. From the grace of the Holy Mass and Taizé prayer to the lively barrio fiestas, youth jams, and laro ng lahi, every experience reminded us that faith is vibrant, joyful, and meant to be shared.

We are truly grateful to have taken part as delegates from St. Anthony College of Roxas City, Inc., represented by the Association of St. Louise de Marillac (Luisas). Together, we walked, served, prayed, celebrated, played, and laughed—finding Christ in each other every step of the way.

The ASLM- LUISAS members joined the Solemnity of Christ The King earlier this afternoon. The celebration took place with a Eucharistic Mass presided by Most. Rev. Victor B. Bendico, which then proceeded to the Procession of The Blessed Sacrament to the Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral.

In line with the values of St. Louise de Marillac, and in this Feast of Christ The King, we LUISAS are reminded that true leadership is about humble service and love.

In honor of the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, Luisas and our dedicated SSVP volunteers visited the Capiz Rehabilitation Center.
Inspired by St. Vincent de Paul's words, "Go to the poor: you will find God," SLM guided us on this humbling outreach.
Our simple goal was to bring a little extra light into the lives of the residents. The day proved that even a small act of kindness can create a ripple effect of hope. 🩷🩵
