Behind the smiles, laughter, activities, and memories we shared today were days of preparation, adjustments, pressure, and sacrifices.
As your FLP Adviser, with a grateful heart, I want to say thank you.
To our FLP officers, thank you for giving your time and energy not simply because you were asked to, but because you chose to make this happen. I know not everything was easy, and there were moments when you had to balance leadership with your own academic responsibilities.
But we showed up.
We worked together.
And above all, we served.
That is what makes me proud.
Of course, not everything went exactly as planned. There were situations and incidents beyond our control. But perhaps that is also part of what leadership teaches us.
It is not about finding someone to blame. It is not about putting pressure on someone. It is about asking, โ€œWhat can we do now?โ€
What matters is that we planned, prepared, anticipated possible concerns, and made sure that necessary precautions were in place. And when unexpected situations happened, we, we adjusted, helped one another, and continued to deliver the program as best as we could.
A special thank you to our Clinic and medical team for being ready to assist and respond when needed, and to everyone who immediately stepped in and helped. Your presence gave us assurance that the safety and well-being of our students remained a priority.
To our very supportive Satellite College Director, Dr. Nilo Delfin, our dear students, faculty, staff, administration, Accounting and Supply Office, alumni, guests, and everyone who supported this celebration thank you for giving our young leaders the space to lead and the opportunity to serve.
We are not simply organizing activities. We are creating experiences where students discover their strengths, find their purpose, learn to face challenges, and slowly become the leaders they are capable of becoming.
The event is over, but the FLP journey still continues.
