In celebration of the National Nutrition Month 2026, Binucayan National High School officially launched Project BUSOG LUSOG, a meaningful initiative that highlights the vital connection between proper nutrition and quality learning.

The project aims to encourage every learner to develop healthy eating habits by choosing nutritious food that fuels both the body and the mind. Good nutrition plays a significant role in enhancing learners' thinking processes, improving concentration, and strengthening their literacy and numeracy skills, empowering them to achieve greater success inside and outside the classroom.

As we continue to nurture young minds, let us remember that every healthy meal is an investment in every learner's future. Let us create a school community where every child is well-fed, well-equipped, and ready to learn.

Nakikiisa ang Binucayan National High School sa pagdiriwang ng 2026 National Nutrition Month nganong buwan ng Hulyo, isang paalala na ang wastong nutrisyon ay pundasyon ng malusog na pangangatawan, malinaw na pag-iisip, at mas matatag na kinabukasan.

Sa temang "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" at sub-temang "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," binibigyang-diin ang mahalagang ugnayan ng tamang nutrisyon at pangangalaga sa ating kapaligiran. Ang bawat masustansyang pagkain na ating pinipili at bawat hakbang na ginagawa natin upang pangalagaan ang kalikasan ay may malaking ambag sa pagbuo ng isang mas malusog at mas matatag na komunidad.

Sa buong buwan ng Hulyo, inaanyayahan ang bawat mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at iba pang stakeholders na makiisa sa mga gawaing nagtataguyod ng malusog na pamumuhay, balanseng pagkain, at responsableng pangangalaga sa kalikasan.

Kapag sama-sama, makakamit natin ang layuning magkaroon ng nutrisyong sapat para sa lahat.

There are voices that fill a classroom, and there are voices that fill an entire school with life. Ma'am Marimar D. Cocamas possessed both. Her unmistakable voice, infectious whistling laugh, and warm personality became familiar sounds at Binucayan National High School.

As she returns to serve in her home municipality, we celebrate an English teacher whose greatest lessons were not only found in books, but in the light-heartedness, encouragement, and genuine care she shared with everyone she met.

Loved by her students for her approachable nature, open-mindedness, and easy-going personality, Ma’am Marimar created a classroom where everyone felt seen, heard, and encouraged to learn.

Her loud, energetic voice could easily fill every corner of the room, while her signature whistling laugh never failed to brighten even the busiest school days. Those little things became part of BNHS: simple yet unforgettable reminders of the joy and positivity she brought wherever she went.

More than teaching grammar, literature, and communication skills, Ma’am Marimar taught with patience and authenticity. She inspired confidence, built meaningful connections with her learners, and reminded them that learning is always more meaningful when shared with a teacher who genuinely cares.

Though your classroom may now be in another school, the impact you've made at Binucayan National High School will remain in the hearts of your students, colleagues, and the entire BNHS family.

Every journey leaves behind footprints that time can never erase. Today, we bid farewell to Ma’am Ericalyn P. Perez as she begins a new chapter in a school within her home municipality. While we are saddened to see her go, we celebrate the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.

A mathematics teacher, Ma’am Ericalyn has inspired countless learners to embrace numbers with confidence and curiosity. Beyond the classroom, she amazed everyone with her creativity, graceful dance performances, and unwavering enthusiasm in every school activity. Whether preparing for programs, coaching students, or lending a helping hand wherever it was needed, she always gave her best with a cheerful heart and a clear sense of purpose.

As the devoted adviser of Grade 11–Humility, her dedication to her students has always been evident. She willingly spent her weekends preparing her advisees for school events, believing that every achievement is built through hard work, teamwork, and commitment. Goal-oriented and hands-on, she never settled for mediocrity, constantly encouraging her learners to strive for excellence.

Thank you, Ma’am Ericalyn, for sharing your talents, passion, and commitment with the Binucayan National High School family. Though your next destination may be closer to home, your impact will always remain in the hearts of the people whose lives you have touched.

Some goodbyes are never easy, especially when they come from someone whose quiet presence has left a lasting mark. Today, Binucayan National High School bids farewell to Ma’am Darlene V. Goc-ong as she embarks on a new journey in a school closer to her home. Though she leaves our halls, the lives she has touched and the memories she has created will remain with us.

As the former adviser of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), she guided student leaders with dedication and integrity. Later, as the class adviser of Grade 12–Patience, she became more than just a teacher: she was a mentor whose firm classroom management instilled discipline, responsibility, and respect among her learners.

Though a woman of few words, Ma’am Darlene expressed her care through her actions. Her quiet strength, unwavering commitment, and genuine concern for her students and colleagues earned her the admiration of many. And of course, no one who has tasted her cooking will ever forget the warmth and love she poured into every dish she shared.

Your BNHS family is grateful for your service, your dedication, and the countless lives you have touched. While we will surely miss your calm presence, we are happy knowing that this new journey brings you closer to your family and home.

Every school is strengthened by people who are always willing to serve beyond what is expected. For years, Ma'am Norbelyn "Jhai" Q. Denosta-Abalos has been one of those dependable pillars of Binucayan National High School.

Today, we honor Ma’am Jhai as she begins a new chapter in her teaching journey at a school closer to her home.

As a dedicated senior high school science teacher, Ma'am Jhai has inspired countless learners with her passion for teaching. Beyond the classroom, she has been one of BNHS's most dependable pillars: our go-to person whenever school activities and engagements were held in Poblacion, Loreto. No matter the task, she was always ready to lend a helping hand.

A former coach and class adviser, Ma'am Jhai has guided learners not only toward academic achievement but also toward confidence, discipline, and growth. Likewise, her creativity, grace, and eye for fashion—especially during every Graduation Ball—have also become one of her charming trademarks, reminding us that confidence and professionalism can go hand in hand.

While we will surely miss your dedication, reliability, and warm presence, we are happy that you are beginning this new chapter closer to your family and home. We have no doubt that the same passion, excellence, and kindness you shared with BNHS will continue to inspire your new school community.
